that's why I'm asking if anyone could help me figure out how to import the original and export it so that the exported one be the exact same as the original one
okay, no worries, take your time, thank you very much, really appreciate it
@shepherd Oh all my work for naught, someone answered. :P
> Oh man how bad the masterchef Tön the Don tells no cAD functionallity .means no new Curv feature or what ? Oh no . blender only for Movies.how crappy is that . Al lot of Birnen money wast to built a movie Toy only.
I have a bvh file found here and I want to import it to blender, then export it again so that both the original (imported) and exported bvh files are identical. I'm not sure what options I should choose to import and export the bvh files so if anyone could please advise.
When I keep the default ...
After learning bits and pieces of Maya, 3DS Max, IMAGINE and XSI I noticed that they all have Y-up worlds with Z being used for depth (naturally).
is there a way to make Blender a Y-up world?
and does anyone know why isnt it Y-up in the first place?
I'm new to Blender and I ran into a problem, I'm not sure of how to accurately explain my problem. How can I best explain/show the community the issue I'm having to get some help?

This guy is going super fast, user for 10 days and he has nearly a quarter of my total reputation... if he keeps it up he'll have passed me in a month...
@GiantCowFilms please do not put text in images. blender.stackexchange.com/a/24805/2217 What you wrote in that screen shot would work better (for non image browsers) as text right above or below the image.
@someonewithpc I guess so, but still it doesn't work he called me and idiot for saying that fact. I'm not saying hes doing anything wrong, his contributions are valued, but as it stands, FBX import/export still doesn't work. He could have said: "We are making major improvements as you speak despite the difficultly of reverse engineering, and these issues should go away" - and I would have said: Thank you, it is much apprecaited, I hope to use it soon. Instead he called me stupid :/
... For not being aware of a fix he made two days ago
@someonewithpc Users complain, developers fix. Users cheer, developers go get a beer. That is how its has always been, and how it always will be.
@GiantCowFilms Just not complaining, informing. People get (insert non offensive word) when they find a problem and they start bitching about it on the bug tracker and such, forgetting most devs are volunteers. Sometimes they don't even bother trying to look for alternative solutions/find duplicate reports - much like it happens here with questions. When you don't even pay for a product, you should only expect it to mostly work. Blender is great, don't get me wrong, but it can always improve.
@someonewithpc By complaing I don't say "Be rude!" I say that people politely point out what doesn't work, and developers fix it. I've developed for other people, and they say: "This doesn't work" I don't say "You have no idea how hard it is, You don't realize how dumb the documentation is, stop trolling about stuff you don't understand, you don't even know how to restart your machine!" ... I say "Let me see what I can do"... BTW, this was also volunteer work.
@GiantCowFilms Okay, but your not the only person complaining - your project was likely a small one, with maybe a couple of people complaining; this is not what it's like in Blender anymore - it's a huge amount of people. Devs, eventually get tired, and this happens.
@someonewithpc Most complaints are duplicates (which I admit is annoying), but I wasn't out to tell him that the FBX import isn't working. I was just saying to someone else that it isn't very good, he shouldn't get cross about that.
@someonewithpc Dahhhrggg no! I need to get more rep the @NoviceInDisguise Quickly
