@VRM Have you had a chance to play around with todays (or by the time your reading this yesturdays) google doodle? I'm curious what someone who can actual compose music thinks of it. I made some "tunes" but I'm sure they would cause musically adept people to cringe.
If you don't have a good sense of pitch it will be hard to compose with this, I'm noticing a bit of dissonance between the instruments that you won't be able to detect as easily unless you know what you are looking for and have some experience and ability :/
Most composing programs show the actual notes, so it is easier to avoid that
