Hey guys, have any of you any experience with Daz3d?
I have posed some reference models for an illustration reference...but I have no idea where to begin with rendering settings...I don't have a great graphics card, just looking for something reasonably detailed to draw from without taking hours to process!
@x-27 @NᴏᴠɪᴄᴇIɴDɪsɢᴜɪsᴇ Check out the catwalks I made, as well as the taming ladder walls down in the corrupted layer. I even made a safe house. The Healing Beacons are great down there...take one with you whereever you go down there and put it on top of the laddered taming wall so that if you get hurt while luring an animal withing sword's distance of the wall, you can heal yourself at the top of the wall with the beacon.
P.S.: Don't forget that pressing C makes you Crouch, so you won't fall off the catwalks
I also noticed an easy way to dig in the corrupted layers: place a healing beacon on corrupted dirt, wood, stone, etc and it becomes normal, uncorrupted stuff, so you can use either no power cells, or low level ones.
@X-27 I moved all the animals I'd tamed out to the farm, since it was getting too crowded in there, at least I thought so. I also put some stoves out there so we can start feeding them their favorite foods. I've gathered a LOT of seeds for everything but melon, so we can plant them at some time here soon. I'll put the seeds and the hoe up in a chest out here on the farm.
when we were leveling the ground to a flat plane, the grade dropped down a bunch so we had to build up the hill a lot. Instead of filling it in, we hollowed it out
