@Rob yes you can with a bit of magic, I'm wearing my favorite rubber ducky with waffles. I even made a knitted version of it: meta.stackexchange.com/a/320629/251777 :)
This year's Winter Bash site has robots.txt which prevents it from being crawled.

Is there a reason why robots.txt was added to this year's WB site?
Yeah, the angles on that one made it difficult. It took a lot of trial and error... but it was one of the earlier ones I did. I started with SO and worked out from there... So I think Travel was the 3rd one, maybe.
I was trying to figure out what to do with the space on the bottom from the previous version... and then I realized it was exactly 9 high and the letters I was using for beta sites was 5, so that would give me just the right amount of space for the letters with my standard two stitch spacing between stuff. I wish I could say I planned it but it just ... happened.
@alecxe Oh, yeah, I like that one. :) And I'm pretty happy with how M&TV came out.
Did you guys know that one of my hats was sabotaged by a fellow "competitor" posting "Great, thanks" comment on my +6 answer? Not quite a good sportsmanship behavior
@Catija would be a really awesome SE swag if your creation would be represented in a physical form
The Winter Bash hat rack shows which sites you've earned a hat on:
What is the order of these sites? If you're on a site where you've earned the hat, that site comes first, but the order of the other sites seems random. It's not a chronological order, and it switches between sites:
but sub...
I am new to this meta StackExchange community, So I do not have much knowledge about Winter Bash and earning hat meaning in my profile.
Is is just of fun or really mean something.

The present Winter Bash started out in 2011 on Gaming Stack Exchange exclusively as "Hat Dash".
All the images of the hats that year seem to be located in a PNG file: http://hatdash.com/content/img/hats128.png. (On Gaming SE Meta, there are only images of the 6 secret hats.)
Unfortunately, the ...
ohhh, that was the hat script that was giving errors at the beginning of the event, that's how I got it. So lucky, I don't know if I could be able to get it now.
@EriktheOutgolfer, it's the 21st. Over here on the West Coast of America, that's the current date. I figure it will be "as long as it's Winter Solstice somewhere in the world"...
working or rubber ducky...abandoned a question yesterday; nothing. Today, I don't even see Abandon Question when I'm on an Ask a Question page (for SO, Meta SO and SE). What am I missing?
well, after a little more typing...i discovered the "Discard" option doesn't appear until your question looks "real" (my words). I replaced the lorem ipbsum text with a newbie question about parsing text. And there seems to be a time delay after doing the required stuff. rubber ducky clock ticking. THANKS!

Do you think there's any merit to the theory, that some of these unsolved secret hats might only trigger if you've ALSO knitted a design on the winterbash2018 page?
Or has anyone gotten the unsolved secret hats and NOT done any knitting?
I wonder whether "Eliza Doolots" is a homage to Eliza the chatbot rather than Eliza Doolittle? It so that would suggest that the hat is related to... chatting.

* I like hats > Tell me more... * I want an Eliza Hat > Suppose you got an Eliza Hat? * Then I would wear it. > What does that suggest to you?
