It is not great code for a number of reasons. But this is not a code review site. Suggest you look into best practices generally. IMO naming a table "cursor" is just a terrible thing to do. But if you need a cursor, then JUST USE one! Looping over a "temp table" using an identity column is just a more error-prone alternative. — SMor 7 secs ago
