Wow. I know why they do it, but it's ugly.
That's not how one should write C#.
Also, opinions on this?
"I'd love to migrate them to codereview, but the CR community typically takes a dim view of that." Yes, and we'll know it when you recommend us anyway. The amount of crap SO will sling our way when we open a migration path is staggering. There have been many meta asking for a path anyway. The controller is enormously fat and needs some gym, they wouldn't promote 'thin controllers' thing for nothing. Moving saveWalletInformation to separate service and decoupling it from scope and controller looks like the right direction. onSuccess and onError should be class methods, so they could be spied. @manniL "write me something that adheres to DRY" is not exactly opinion based, but it's not exactly the opposite either (because there are multiple ways to write it). The real issue at that point becomes: despite there being some people that are happy to take on such a request, it's off topic and inappropriate for stack overflow. It might be very much on topic for codereview.stackexchange.com or some other site in the SE network, I'm not sure... but it's not appropriate here. — mah 29 secs ago

@LorahAttkins Verbosity is usually a sign you're going against the grain of the language which is something you can look for in a code review. If you've got all these macros to minify what you're doing you're basically inventing a dialect of C++ that's not conventional and will be harder to understand. — tadman 12 secs ago
