You're right in sensing there has to be a better way to do this. Right now, you're setting static fields from within instance methods, which is rarely a good idea. Luckily, your code is already sufficiently structured that fixing this requires very little work.

Is is just that I can't see something deleted (as I don't have the rep to see that here), or am I just really bad on locating the change? That was what I suspected... Cause I already looked over the comments, and changes to answers and edit on answers (or question)... It's a tiny bit annoying to see it be bumped on the activity list when you can't actually see the change...

You really should take care of your self a little more! Because if you have to take a sick leave, both you and your firm is going to have a much bigger problem than you not working on your rest days!
I've been there where I did double days for a few weeks, and it really took a lot of effort and I was on the verge of snapping. I did however survive, and had a good talk with bosses, and one crucial element: I did have the Sundays off so that I could recover a little.
Without them, I would have snapped.
