So, I have been discussing our election situation at the Tavern™, and someone suggested to let the nomination phase be extended

On the other hand, I think I'm willing to run, but I need time to prepare the nomination etc, and unfortunately I'm really busy recently

@AndrewT. Glad to hear you're going to run. The only thing worse than making an extension, is making one that doesn't attract any new candidates. We'll indeed be extending the election today, and I still encourage anyone interested in candidacy to consider further.

Reminder that moderatorship is meant to be volunteer work, not a second occupation, if time is a concern. The extant mods on Android Enthusiasts would be able to give you a better picture of the load of work for this site specifically, but in general we mostly seek pinpricks of time for our mods, to handle exceptions and make sure flags aren't unseen.

Symbian, Blackberry, & Windows Phone are dead? Other then Android and iOS what is left? FirefoxOS had an offshoot I thought don't remember the name.

GreatCall Proprietary OS is that even the name seems to becoming popular?

yes I am inferring about the dumb phones OSs which Android is overkill.
