The point is that I do not have a problem with critical opinions about Trump per se.

Contrary to what you think I follow this in some detail since years and in a relatively diversified way.

Just please stop acting like some self-appointed "devil's advocate"... in reeks of insincerity, and it approximates trolling.

I find a certain form of discourse about politics problematic, and I saw it in that room, so I chimed in to counter act it.

I don't like Trump. But I also don't like certain ways how he is opposed.

And here's a deal: You can pontificate on who should be a US leader, and praise and criticize all you want in how you perceive American politics, when you share your citizenship, and allow users like me to inform you about your leaders, and in your countries of citizenship. There is a television series consisting of skits (including the one linked above), called Monty Python's Flying Circus.

There are also several movies: Monty Python's Holy Grail, Life of Brian, and The Meaning of Life.
