ideally, we weed out folks likely to get themselves suspended before voting starts

ditto for "likely to step down"

up to the start of voting, anyone can just withdraw, no big deal. After voting starts... Gotta handle that when running the election, 'cause folks might have voted for 'em.

(STV handles it just fine, but since we limit the number of votes... It gets icky)

@AsafKaragila Perhaps you want to volunteer as a case study? Get yourself suspended before the election ends, and lets see what happens! Maybe you'll set precedence, if you do, and it will give @Shog9 and team good experience to handle such a case, in the future!! :P

@Shog9 Wait. I'm confused. It shows that the first day saw over 2000 votes. At this point, two and a half days in, only about 1600 new Constituent badges were handed out. Does that someone who voted for two candidates twice (and three candidates thrice)?

I wouldn't go so far. Most people choose three, and the trend (vast majority of voters vote in the first two days) is clear enough.

[S]pecifically, out of 2161 ballots there are 1985 ballots with at least two votes; and 1865 ballots with all three votes (it might interest someone to know that all ballots had a first choice))
