@b_jonas Alternative: they should have added a long lost cousin called "Red Gala" that lives in Manehattan/Canterlot (choose one) and is somehow snob. Then have an episode where she rediscover farm life.

3 hours later…
11:04 AM
could easily see that....

With Rarity and AJ arguing if she should be fashionable or country-style.
@ShadowThePrincessWizard still talking about the post above.

@Derpy yeah didn't wait long enough for you to complete the sentence. :)

... never I though this day would come. I will quote South Park in a reply (or to be more precise, the only part of South Park that I know thanks to a Wikipedia Article).

@Derpy Oh yeah, there is a "Red Gala" mentioned. I forgot about her.

11:48 AM
I don't know if I should be posting that answer. On a side, it feels well deserved.
On the other, I don't know if it is worth posting.
and in the meantime... Hi @Zoe

@Derpy what answer? Still related to MLP?

@ShadowThePrincessWizard nope, this one

Q: What can we do about systemic lies regarding Monica's suspension?

userSpecifically, looking at this answer posted on: What did Monica do to violate the CoC? (Wayback Machine link for users without 10k) It is accurate, contains references for all cited information, and is a true representation of what happened. The most up-voted answer is... Misleading at best. ...

wait, suspension?

@Derpy oh. What you want to write as answer?
@Zoethetransgirl who? looking

11:57 AM
Ugh, clickbait

Oh, you mean suspend whoever lies? @Zoe
lost

"Monica's suspension" => Monica got suspended

@Zoethetransgirl title is wrong - and I think on purpose. It means "Monica's firing"

yeah, figured that after I found the account

Well still no accepted name for this whole ordeal

12:00 PM
anyway, since they claim that the deleted answer on the other post was factual.... I was thinking of posting an answer just to say that the "factual" deleted answer seemed more like Chewbecca Defense to me.

Edited.
@Derpy nobody will understand.

just for context, the "factual" answer was the one that contained a link to a random blog post and tried to make the jump that Monica should agree with that blogger.

(well, maybe few? I won't. :))

In a jury trial, a Chewbacca defense is a legal strategy in which a criminal defense lawyer tries to confuse the jury rather than refute the case of the prosecutor. It is an intentional distraction or obfuscation. Because a Chewbacca defense distracts and misleads, it is an example of a red herring. It is also an example of an irrelevant conclusion, a type of informal fallacy in which one making an argument fails to address the issue in question. Often an opposing counsel can legally object to such arguments by declaring them irrelevant, character evidence, or argumentative. The name Chewbacca...

12:04 PM
basically....
> This, fellow users is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a internet blogger from an unrelated internet blog. But Chewbacca is against preferred pronouns. Now think about it; that does make sense!
...
If Chewbacca is an internet blogger, then Monica is against preferred pronouns.

1:01 PM
@ShadowThePrincessWizard now you get why I said that song reminds me of the "do not require to post on Meta" policy?

1:32 PM
@ShadowThePrincessWizard was it so terrible? Did you turn in a pony?

1:42 PM
:)
Still a shadow

I thought you were a princess? :P

Shadow first, always.
Or just Sha, on rare occasions. ;)
Think "Sha Wiz Dow Ard" was the only time when I wasn't a full Shadow. :D
