@ShadowThePrincessWizard and in the meantime Sancho Panza is writing down a fake version of the story that portraits Quixote as a crazy old man that fights windmills.
... and now that I mention it, I think there was a short comics with just that premise.
Quixote was actually a competent knight who fought actual giants, but Sancho rewrote the story to make him look like a fool.
The thing is, SE is now experiencing what I call the "All hell breaks loose"-effect. It's effectively the same as the #MeToo movement - some people start, others affected realize they don't have to be quiet, and join. Monica opened the lawsuit door - it's now a matter of time before someone takes action on the license change
iDunno, there were 4 new donors since this morning
the register also picked up the SE drama. This involves legal action, which is likely to not only attract the attention of tech-related media. But we'll see I guess
@Derpy I don't think that works. I mean, they can ask, but they probably can't get the diamond back.
@Derpy You'd think they are chameleons, from the amount of people who use two monitors at the same time. I suggested perlmonks.com/?node_id=1191826 at my previous job, but it still totally applies here.
I'm the only one who asked to get the second monitor removed from my desk, so that I don't have to sit rotated towards one of the monitors or stare at a fricking gap between two monitors in front of me all the time.
@b_jonas there are actually mods getting their diamonds back, with the exception of Monica. I get that she might've done something that execludes her from a future position as a mod, but tbf, there's a lot of worse mods out there. Anyway, the reinstatement process does work for mods who stepped down
