@Trish - I keep reading your posts (answers) and keep thinking, "I really appreciate Trish's answers ... they are well laid out, complete, and make a lot of sense!" ... so, Thank you!
@0scar - Yours aren't too shabby, either ;-)

3:29 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 :) Thanks mate!

@0scar - No worries. I've gained a lot of knowledge from both of you. I appreciate every ounce of it!
(Or, I guess it would be "gram" of it in your lingo!)

3:47 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Thanks! I need to be good to argue... Teacher...

@Trish - Heh, no doubt!

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 An SI ounce is 100 grams :) You're welcome, I like sharing the knowledge I gathered over the years. I also enjoy doing some research in the questions I cannot answer directly, that way I also learn from you and questions by others.
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 To be honest, I also enjoy reading @Trish answers, he clearly has more time to write answers, they look like essays :)

@0scar I have time on train... and between classes.

@Trish - Free time ... what's that?

...and in class, as I am still studying to become a teacher.
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 What is this sleep thing?

3:58 PM
@Trish Nice, I taught 13 years at Delft University, and enjoyed that very much. Always nice to work with motivated people.

@Trish - We'll get plenty of time for sleep when we're dead, so why start now??

@greenonline @tbm0115 @StarWind0 please vote 3dprinting.stackexchange.com/questions/7975/…
It is an exact duplicate

@greenonline @tbm0115 @StarWind0 - More stupidity in the form of spam: 3dprinting.stackexchange.com/q/7986/11242
@Greenonline @tbm0115 ^^
@0scar - I superpinged green and tbm ... the only one getting pinged on yours was StarWind0

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Thanks! The question is now collecting answers and should be closed as dupe.

@0scar - Agreed ... needs one more vote, which doesn't require an admin.
could be an admin, but doesn't require it. I've already voted on it.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I guess we have too few active users with voting capabilities

Nah, we just need to ping them ... if we only knew who hasn't voted already, lol

It continuously sticks to 4 votes :)

7:35 PM
I'm going to bet you, Trish, and I are 3/4 ... who else could we ping on it?

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 No admin as than below 5 the vote closes I read

I'm going to assume you mean, five votes required to close?

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 5 normal users, I read that the vote of an admin closes the question immediately
That is why Green sometimes votes late

@0scar - absolutely correct. It's called a "binding vote"
Or the "close hammer" ;-)
On the particular question, there's already 4 close votes. We only need one more, whether a mod of regular user to close it.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Lol, I respect Greens choice though, first let some of the community members vote before dropping the hammer

7:38 PM
@0scar - I'm agreeing with all of that. Just suggesting if we found one more regular user, the deed would be done.

You see something similar at voting on answers, it is regularly 3-4 people voting, let me guess who ;)

@0scar - that isn't exactly what that page is about.

No but it shows the voters

7:41 PM
yes
THis is a better indication. It shows the last six users who have worked off the review queues, which includes when someone puts a "close vote" on a question.

tjb and davo are the other active users, and PeterJ a silent (not active other than voting) voter

We could ping tjb or davo to come help us ... One of the two most likely hasn't voted to close it. If they have, we could ping Trish :o)
Actually, Carl W voted to close it.
@Davo @tjb1 - Could we get one of you two to put a close vote on: 3dprinting.stackexchange.com/q/7975/11242 as a duplicate?

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Super handy that superpinging...

8:12 PM
I've already voted to close.

@Davo Thanks for your help!

@0scar - Then Trish hasn't VTC'd it?

9:02 PM
I wish I could answer more questions, but my experience is almost exclusively with Hyrel HW/SW/FW.

9:24 PM
I don't know if most of the admins are active. We could ping the admin manager and have you mod
I'm on SO everyday as I'm a software engineer and the old devs liked to write really bad code

9:50 PM
@StarWind0 - So ... would you mind putting your close hammer on 3dprinting.stackexchange.com/q/7975/11242 for us?

10:31 PM
This is the job for the hammer!

10:49 PM
@StarWind0 here a real spammer: 3dprinting.stackexchange.com/a/7995
And thanks for the hammer on the dupe!
@Davo Too bad we don't see much of the high end questions here, I'd like to hear more about high temperature material printing. We print in metal for aerospace, but we cannot print in e.g. PEEK because the research is awarded to another company in my country... politics and government budgets...

11:16 PM
@0scar what research is that? you can just buy PEEK printers these days
I'd like more high-end users on the site too. Most questions are completely inapplicable to the kind of printers I use, and I had to self-answer two of my own questions

11:59 PM
@StarWind0 - Thank you kind sir!
