@DanHulme Yes you can, but as I'm working for a research organization, we add value to existing processes. E.g. for metal printing we print exotic materials which are not commonly used and look into certification for aerospace, this is not readily available. For printing thermoplastics, a sister institute is awarded the funds by our government. For metallic printing like certain aerospace Al, Ti and Ni alloys, we are awarded the funds.

I wish SO would email me faster when things need the hammer....
also
I gave up on my bondtech and volcano e3dv6 extruder combo on the ultimaker. Got wild issues with it melting plastic at low flow rates (couldn't melt it fast enough, even.. at 260c for.. pla.. and 0.1 mm LH on 0.8mm nozzel??)
I think those will go to the mendelmax skeleton. in my closet. Or a delta as I've yet to play with one of those. Instead I paid the Ultimakers ransom of 400 to fix their design flaws. So I will have a UM2+ now.
