@MonicaCellio The name is adapted from Latin. Secespita is latin for Opfermesser (sacrificial knife). -us is a male ending in latin, whereas -a would be female. A c is pronounced like a k.
I found the word when going through the latin dictionary for a vocabulary test and thought it would make a nice username.
@Secespitus thanks. I thought Latin rather than Italian, but even so I understand that classical Latin and church Latin differ and I didn't know the word/reference.
