I actually managed to hang alright, although I was occasionally seeing stars nearing then end as my body tried to tell me I didn't have available energy (this has been a recurring problem for me throughout my life... eat too much and my stomach gets upset from undigested food. Eat too little and I start blacking out as if I had no blood sugar. I can't seem to find a good middle ground).
A little bit sore this morning, but not nearly as bad as two weeks ago when I could barely walk.

@JohnP Well, at least USNDP is doing the right thing, passport photos and rank cert photos is standard fare - and glad you got ahold of someone!

@FuzzyBoots I recommend some form of Gu packets or gummies. I rely heavily on them in triathlons, and I have the same problem with not being able to eat soon before a workout.
@Wigwam Yep. And eventually I'll go back and learn the forms/test for a kukki rank as well. Just no time currently.

@JohnP I'll have to try that. I've been told many times before that it shouldn't really matter, that the human body is typically working on stores of energy, not food that you've eaten recently (and is likely still being digested), but it just doesn't jibe with my experiences.

@FuzzyBoots The problem is phsyiological. When you exercise, especially intense exercise, your body opens up blood vessels and directs resources towards the muscles, and away from body functions such as digestion. In addition, in some people, the stomach contracts and has less volume. If you have food there, it has to go somewhere...
Even considering most digestion actually takes place in the small intestine
And somewhat disproving my previous statement :p, pdfs.semanticscholar.org/1b4e/… - A bit of a read, but interesting.
