I think we need to be careful with VLQ flags. If it's a new user and it's something like bad spelling or formatting, I think it's worth taking two seconds to educate them
if it's a recurring thing that's something else
I've seen some valid questions almost closed because the way they were worded made them seem low-effort or just poor-quality but if you take the time to go through the language, it's just a non-native speaker who probably gave it a decent amount of effort. I have no issues editing those when I feel I understand what the OP is asking to make sure they don't get closed for "unclear what you're asking".
Even if it's not likely that someone who is struggling hard with English will become an active user overnight, I think it gives a more welcoming vibe to the community that can benefit us in the long term.
