when I am anxious, time passes slower than I imagine. In the past two weeks, when it was Wednesday, I considered it's Friday the next day. Then when I checked calendar, finding it's only Thursday the next day, I felt gratified because I felt like I earned an extra day to do things.
2 hours later…

@CaptainBohemian Good thing that it doesn't pass faster than you imagine! ;)
There are like 14 gravity related ones in the 18-19 list, some with a green light, but you could check those names personal pages to see if there are any comments on applying

' The Advanced ERC grant project NuQFT focusses on the understanding of the physical and mathematical aspects of non-unitary quantum field theories in 1+1 dimensions. Subtopics of interest include Logarithmic conformal field theory, sigma models on supergroups, Liouville theory, the Bethe-ansatz for super spin chains, lattice models for the Integer quantum Hall plateau transition (and other classes of topological insulators), and statistical loop models.'
Pauli's exclusion principle tells us (in an informal language) that each and every electron in an atom is unique. When I searched for a derivation , I got nil everywhere (even the wiki site says only that it's equivalent to anti-symmetry of wave functions with respect to exchange). However the c...
Consider the emission of a photon when an atom decays from an excited state to its ground state. In most cases, this emitted photon is depicted as a small wave-packet being expelled by the atom in a well-defined direction. However, quantum optics tell us that photons are essentially associated wi...
@JohnRennie there's a high likelihood that I'll be in Chester in mid-August of next year. I'll ping you closer to the date to see if you're up for a pint.
(drop me an email at my easy-to-find address if you'd rather I contact you elsewhere.)
