@toscho as laudable as the desire/effort to funnel Plugin/Theme developers into the WPORG forums to provide Plugin/Theme support is, the effort will never truly be effective until the forum infrastructure better facilitates developers to moderate the support forums for their own Plugins/Themes.
ok i'll try then. I got a wp_query on a custom post type and would like to display all infos related to those posts, like id, slug, title, related custom fields and taxonomies. Is that possible?
might need get_the_terms() too for the taxonomy stuff
the first two are pretty broad, there are more specific, consumable variants of those functions as well. such as get_the_id(), get_the_title(), get_post_meta()

Heh - I'm just fairly clueless when it comes to template engines and the like. I have no idea where I land on the matter - I've heard good arguments for both sides, played with several engines, and written a couple tiny implementations, but I still feel like I can't make a solid educated decision when it comes to a new project. It's just always kind of "eh, let's try this and see what happens."
I'm not so interested in the structure of your presentation as I am the content of it and your takes on such matters (no offense to your ability to present :P)
