Having more than one POV character should not be a problem as long as you make sure they are NEVER narrating the same scene. "Perspective jumping" within a chapter/section/whatever is considered confusing and very bad styling
But I don't think you should
Just choose one of the characters to narrate and stick with them
If you really want to change perspective mid-chapter, add a scene break
What exactly is the point of having an omniscient (not limited) narrator if he can't look into the other character's thoughts?
What else would he need to be omniscient to narrate?
Or is it simply an stylistic choice?
