A: How do I clean up this space-town?

MBraedleyYou can end missions from the tracking station. While you can't multi select those pieces of debris, it's just three clicks to select, terminate (the red X button), and confirm.

Huh so you can do that even if the mission that created the debris has been ended?
It might not show everything, but it should show the stuff that's littered around your launch pad
Oh I guess I wasn't clear - this is debris that is in orbit, near a space station. It's not on the ground.
It should still work. Instead of saying "landed at KSC" it should say "orbiting Kerbin".
Nope, that doesn't work at all - I've terminated all the missions I have going on at the moment, and there's still debris in space. I can't select it or anything.

Are they showing up in the tracking station list? If not, I'll edit my answer to give you another option.
And I can't see that image
03:47
Huh that's weird
but no they are not on the tracking list any more
There's just stuff in orbits in space
Can you click on the stuff on the map of the tracking station? That should enable the terminate button.
Hmmmm
Nope
I can hover over it, and I get information about it
But nothing happens when I click
What!
Your ship designs are saved in the save file!
Okay, you'll have to do this the hard way, unfortunately. Or edit the save file.
Yeah I just made a new one
And lost all my ships
Which I guess is what I get for overwriting
Fortunately, backups
If you actually load the debris, you can end it that way, but it takes a lot longer.
So you can move your ship designs from one save to another. Open the save folder, and you'll see a folder for your VAB and hanger designs

Uh huh I figured that part out already
I'll edit my answer to give the other two options.
