I think that having the user to click the GIF to play it in the chatbox would make the experience more user-friendly and bandwidth-friendly. Can this be implemented here? I saw it on a few websites (well... 9gag). This would also make all the chat users more tolerant on GIF's and not dissalow or...

I'm really not seeing what problems this would fix, and it would certainly cause me some minor ones.

This would break my workflow. I often keep chat on one screen while I'm at work. I'll occasionally glance at it to follow the conversations. Forcing me to move my mouse all the way to the chat window and click just to play a GIF is a rather big waste of time. I'd probably still do it, but you've just wasted 10 seconds of my time moving my mouse.

Moreover, the click-to-start, click-to-stop behavior breaks the existing functionality where I can click on an image and see the original at full …

Personally, while I'll probably watch Ro-Kyu-Bu SS, I think the series I'm looking forward to the most is High School DxD NEW. The first season was amazing, and they have plenty more great material to work with for the second season.

Most of the things in OVAs and specials are recently aired things which are getting side stories adapted as OVAs or DVD specials. It's a very common marketing tactic nowadays.

As for HS DxD, I think it's one of the few very fanservicey anime which is positively received by almost everyone. Personally I think it's a masterpiece, but most people automatically rate things a bit lower because of fanservice. Even with that factored in, I've never heard anyone complain that the show is bad.

@Eric Overwhelming fanservice implies that there's something else more important than fanservice. In any case, I don't think the fanservice overwhelms the plot or character development. However, if by "overwhelming" you just mean a lot, then there certainly is a lot. It's roughly comparable to Queen's Blade in terms of the amount, though everything else about DxD (animation quality, plot, characters) are really far better.

I generally put it in the same category as shows like Clannad, Steins;Gate, Mushishi, and Fate/Zero, though I think most people wouldn't rate it that highly.
