Yeah I think you are right about that. She does seem to predate all the other examples and is popular enough to be referenced as much as she is. It's a bit surprising to me that there isn't more information in English about the character.

I'm going to make a meta post about this and our list policy in general. I appreciate what the OP is doing, and to me it seems like he's trying to follow our policies, but I don't think there's any way this is a reasonable question for the main site no matter how it's phrased and no matter if it complies with our policy on list questions.

@Krazer We hit that a few days ago actually, when Madara and Deidara-senpai got their bronze tag badges. We hit 100 naruto in the recent questions list today, which lists how many questions were asked "recently" (I can't figure out what criterion is used for this), but we have 108 total at the moment.
