Does anyone have any idea of good anime to seed with? I have some seeding questions but some are pretty obscure. And until I read Attack on Titan I can't ask a lot about it, either.
I don't think there's anything we can do about it. Most of our top users are busy right now. I thought I'd have time during spring break, but I still have lots of work to do.
Also I just checked. We had 5 questions on 3/6, so if we want our Q/D not to drop any further today we need at least 5 questions today.
OTOH I agree with what Robert said when he said not to focus on the stats themselves too much, but on what they represent. We shouldn't be asking questions just to get the stats higher, we should be asking them to generate more content.
The trouble for me is that I want to ask lots of questions like the Paca Plus one, but about much longer games with no translation. It's extremely likely no one here will have played them, and they're unlikely to be as easy as that one to answer. If I throw out too many, it'll just wreck the stats in a different way.
I have to try to find stuff that's mainstream enough to be viable here with only a couple dozen regular users. Which means that VNs, LNs, and drama CDs are almost totally out of the picture.
There's probably something I can ask about G-senjou no Maoh or Ever17 or something like that, which have English translations and are very good. I'll see what I can come up with.
@Eric G-senjou no Maoh is pretty similar to Death Note in a lot of ways, but it's ultimately a much better story. If they made an anime of it I think it would have a good chance at being the top show of the year.

Basically, I saw 5 English language articles today from different sources, and all of them were using HenNeko, so it seems like that's what they're going with for the anime.
@Eric It's only an SEO bonus if people actually search for "henneko". Using "hentai" isn't going to hurt us in terms of search engine traffic. It just doesn't get factored in at all.

I'm watching GetBackers and after the fight against Makubex in Infinity Fortress i only find fillers and story with no plot-related history. Which ones are the fillers and which correspond to the manga?

I underestimated my own abilities. I also understand the machine code one, at least in principle.
I was sort of hoping there would be more than just software. But given that it is SE, I was expecting it to be very software-centric, and I was correct about that.
I'm going to wait on asking all my mediocre questions since they're literally failed attempts at tumbleweed because someone commented on them the first time. At best they're mostly going to be unanswered for several months. If our Q/D is still below 4 at around 2200 UTC then I'll ask them.
@Eric If I'm only asking 41 questions per day, you could upvote all of them before any of them reached 1 week old, at least if I only continued for a week. I'd need to continue that for about 40 days. To do it in one week, I'd need to ask 281 questions all in one day.
@LoganM It's okay. I do know the answer, and I'm more than ready to downvote people just guessing at it. I'm fairly sure that we have a decent group of people who won't pretend to be painters.

Reversal is extremely unlikely to happen on this site anytime soon. The only questions that make it to -5 are the ones which have no hope of ever generating good answers.

With their stats, IMO it was a good decision. Having 0 users with 200 rep at 20 days is kind of ridiculous, and they didn't generate anywhere near enough questions. I don't think there was any way to make the site viable.

In Sakura Card Captor when Shaoran meets Yukito he starts to feel embarrased or even blushed by his presence. I always though he liked Sakura but when these scenes happened i was kinda confused.
@Krazer I'd have to look up the code for most languages' method to get the current file. I don't know Python's, Java's, or C++'s (if they all even have one). Unless I'm allowed to determine where the file executes from and its filename.

For all the hype, RE only has 28 questions after about 2 days. Given how quickly they built up support, I was expecting a lot more than that. I think we had around 100 in the first day IIRC.
Speaking of Xd, does anyone know any other instances of this facial expression? I'm pretty sure I've seen it many other times, but the only one that immediately comes to mind is Hachikuji from Bakemonogatari, and I can't seem to find the clip where she does it.
@Eric This one is from Tonari no Kashiwagi-san, which is one of the funniest manga I read. In this case he was trying to say something in German, but he confused Brust and Wurst, which are pronounced almost identically in Japanese.
