Y u so laggy, Mankind Divided? I was already playing on minimal settings, but the game became bearable only when I switched to windowed mode with 1440x900
@Memor-X I'm not sure. I heard somewhere that Nier was originally developed for PS3 and then ported to PC, while Deus Ex (I think) was developed for PC. The problem may be with the Denuvo DRM system, since a lot of people on the internet blame it for the low performance, but some news website claimed the protection was removed from the game when a crack was released.
I don't think my computer is already so garbage it can only run games with ungodly lags

Maybe they did develop this game for consoles first. They seem to have made a few questionable decisions, adding some preorder system and microtr*nsactions.
@Gallifreyan yeh i hear the microtransactions were tacked on on the last minute so the game isn't even optimized for their use. you use them and you make it way to easy that i hear some people say that Square should just have made a "clear game" purchase and be done with it

atleast Bandai-Namco when they did it with SAO the tiers were cosmetic only and top tier was a free game
speaking of carving out game content for DLC, i hear with the new Soul Calibur one of the trailer featured characters who looks to be fully complete is going to be separate DLC

@Gallifreyan yeh and if it wasn't for the ass-holey season pass Final Fantasy might have been a saving grace
though atleast it's only XV that suffers from having a season pass and real time limited time events
here's hoping Kingdom Hearts 3 don't get any season pass
