While easily confused at a distance or without close observation, there are many different characteristics of common large bees and wasps which can be used to identify them.

I agree, diversity is a good thing. But sometimes it's hard to find new pathways, it just takes time and exploration, I still almost never browse reddit. although I understand it to be a hefty resource of info and media.... I don't like kotaku, and I found pixiv late last year, but havent been by in awhile
@shaggy you might like this better than both of them since it should have all the news from them anyway, plus some other stuff you probably don't see reddit.com/r/technology/top/?sort=top&t=day
I think that's about all of my routine sources, and I want to find more and better
ill keep the above one in rotation for the next week and see how it compares. in the past, and I mean since like 2004-06 slashdot.org has never let me down. and is solid material, and also includes linux news
it seems pixiv has picked up a bit since I last visited, so I'll throw that in there tooo
this morning when I woke all I was watching was videos of pokemon GOers, going out and catching pokemon on their bikes and cars, and just sitting thinking 'this is going to be a problem' then reading an article around lunch about all the incidents that have been occurring, car crashes- people falling into ditches- finding augmented pokemon floating ontop of dead corpses...
im all for the outside activity as well, it would be great to see kids back out on the streets, out in groups catching pokemon soaking up the sun
yeah I've questioned that aswell
and just that concept in general with most VR stuff. I fell like for a lot of handicap people playing classic styled video games was an escape , and with walking VR and such.. idk its just unfortunate, and worries me for disabled gamers
I think the real game will begin when we have those virtual reality headsets lightened up to convenient glasses and not suck out the battery juice in one hour
@Quill I suppose your right, but with gps positioning like how the vive is, if you have a particular disability of movement, it would be very hard(as it stands now, and from what i've seen) to use the full functionality of some games, or even be able to really play at all
which is just sad, and a concern for me, just because I've been there myself.
it would be kinda cool if they rigged it(like lets say at a VR arcade) from the roof, with the tether that tracks around from the ceiling which would also possible take some gravitational resistance off said head? Idk... just thinking about it
by now you're probably familiar with how education works, it's mostly self-study with a few mostly useless remarks by the professors
profs don't teach, they just highlight the topics and you have to learn everything on your own
basically just disregard lectures and bring your textbooks, do the stuff you do for homework − study on your own
gonna waste less time like that by listening to what's already written and you've already read
if I was to go back and start uni all over again, I'd pick a completely different direction and study on my own all the time
which reminds me you can pick a type of education that doesn't require you to show up every day, only on important test days, and just for a few hours instead of a full day
unless you really need that professor guidance, in which case you're probably not keeping up with the material at all
I highly recommend finding some subreddits or public forums where graduates talk about how they have or should have studied to avoid the most common problems, it's gonna be invaluable
and for god's sake don't waste money on new textbooks, just ask the senpai class for hand-me-downs
our profs usually told us to find them in pdf, especially the really old math books which weren't available since the 80's
just waiting for the food to get ready and I could watch dat re zero ep >.>
after studying as I did, I don't think there's much value to university education, unless it was to show us how useless it all is and how you gotta learn everything yourself
all IT related stuff was oldest shit possible, I haven't even seen any mentions of those programming languages and machines on the internet, they're so ancient
newest stuff we did was making some basic math programs in delphi which I managed to run on a windows phone via dos emulator, for which the teach said "ok, I see what you're doing, you can stop now, it's a pass"
well I have high hopes, I just hope it's not horrible. also almost done with reLife, which iv'e been slowly enjoying, nothing crazy just mediocre .. be decent enough to entertain someone with relatable life problems . *I'm really in need of a title that really blows my socks off, its been awhile since ive been pulled into a series. maybe I should try erased, maybe I shouldn't hahah
also spell check says relatable isn't a word. but pretty sure it is.
I just want something to makes me binge so hard.... wanting more and more... I miss that feeling. one episode to the next, I must know more, one more and one more.. oh nohhh I should have savored it, there's only one season!!! OMG. -I want that feeling again. haha
In the end of Death Note, Near would've been lost if Mello didn't help him. That makes me think why Near who is always be careful (isn't like L or Mello) didn't find out about the possibility of fake death note, meanwhile Mello had found out about that.
For Mello, after he found out that Kira he...
so i get into the employment agency place....thing for my monthly appointment. i get in there 5 minutes before time because i picked up launch and i get told that the person i normally see no longer works there
i wait for 1/2 an hour more before another receptionist asks if i have an appoint and i tell them i did but the personal i normally see no longer works there (what i was told), i then wit 10 more minutes before i finally see someone
correct me if i'm wrong but if someone made an appointment with a client and then stops working there should the client then be contacted? or have someone else ready to take the client so they aren't waiting for 40 minutes
I've not seen the show, but I used to play the video games. With pokemon go now known easter egg of walking away from the starting pokemon and getting pikachu, why did Ash do that? I've done a few searches, but not come up with anything.
alot of the time i thinkt hat when i go to rebuild something before i even finished it maybe wasting time but with this recent rebuild of my game i am actually liking the changes. already i've got a nice HUD element which shows stats effects and i have the ground work for the auto medication system in place. just need to throw a bunch of if statement in the primary update function to begin application
ofcause that's after i finished with the status effect timings. kinda pointless if i don't fix up the venom status from freezing movement.....and setting HP to 0
morning. i just want to ask for a friend, he said he watched an anime, it was about four kids (who are likely to be all male) who were transported into another world/dimension and has their own mecha suits/robot things. he said that everything in that dimension were made of cubes, if anyone could answer it would be greatly appreciated
In other anime some characters get nicknames like in Yuru Yuri Akari = Akarin and in WataMote Tomoko = Mokochii.
I can understand how these names get created but in Hyperdimension Neptunia Neptune calls Broccoli Puchiko. where does Puchiko come from?
Pachinko (パチンコ) is a type of mechanical game originating in Japan and is used as both a form of recreational arcade game and much more frequently as a gambling device, filling a Japanese gambling niche comparable to that of the slot machine in Western gaming. A pachinko machine resembles a vertical pinball machine, but has no flippers and uses a large number of small balls. The player fires balls into the machine, which then cascade down through a dense forest of pins. If the balls go into certain locations, they may be captured and sequences of events may be triggered that result in more balls...
@ToshinouKyouko yeh, best you didn't, otherwise people will ask why she looks like that and you have to explain what she is trying to mimic. not a conversation you'd want to have
it's like trying to explain why a woman has streaks of rainbow play-dough on her face
@Chinatsu-creepy-chan the word "chubby" is used to describe people who don't fit what society considers thin while at the same time avoiding sounding like a prick by saying that they are fat
hell i really dislike registering the word chubby either
@Memor-X thicc pronounced "tick". referring to a usually black female who's curve resemble one of an hour glass plus even more [booty] than a regular hoe. most often found with a pair of THICC ass thighs
I recently had thick and fluffy pancakes at a restaurant and I am eager to figure out how to make them.
Anyone know the secret behind getting thick and fluffy pancakes? Is it adding baking soda? Using carbonated water (does this even work?)?
Hasirama is one of the most OP characters in the Naruto series. No one could match his strength, even Madara, and he had crazy regenerative abilities. Basically, he had no weaknesses. Narutopedia sums it up pretty well:
Hashirama was famed as the strongest shinobi of his era, reputed as a God...
@Memor-X you would think so, but stuff like that is common place these days. not many people care, it's unfortunate. And frustrating, especially when it's a government ran agency or in the medical field, so much incompetence so much miscommunication, It's sad really, I deal with quite a bit of it myself. Hope it goes better for you around next time
@Frosteeze yeah honestly that's what drew me to the series in the first place (railgun) but being how I am, I must see everything in production order, and I need to know thingsssss. lol so index is where i'm starting :).. good to know there might be something to look forward to in the future. so far (index) isn't tooo bad.
hmm not sure if it's a bug or what but clicking (in my case double-clicking) the area around taskbar tray icons directs the click to the first icon in win 7
