Hey I would appreciate quite a lot if anyone could help me find the name of this manga
So the manga starts with a boy who is obsessed with being a hero of justice getting severely injured in protecting an alien Moon Princess from an assassin attack while on a metro rail journey

@LoganM a bit of explanation is in order, many questions seem to skew towards, anime. While I'm not too enthusiastic with requiring a franchise tag, I'm at least willing to give it a try. The idea here is to do some multivariate testing: FMA with the franchise and split series tag, dragonball with just the split in continuities, and everything else as they are.
I agree that suddenly changing how the tagging works is an arduous endeavor, which is why I'll try to see this experiment from beginning to end. If it doesn't work, it will be a testament of why we shouldn't approach the subject in such a manner. If it somehow does, it can be take as a sort of precedence for future policy.
The primary goal of all this is to try to give the user that want to participate a change to get more involved. Sure sometimes we might make mistakes and get side tracked or tunnel visioned with certain policies or matters, but it's all a part of growing as a community and figuring out what we want to do.
@Tyhja violent !== yandere or even yangire
I've made provisions in order to be able to more easily revert things in call everything fall though. I'll write a clearer post of the intent and goals of this change this weekend. Series like Aria wouldn't change, a question about the Aqua manga will still fall under the "aria" tag. As for IM@S, certain series like puchimasu or idolmaster xenoglossia are far enough removed for the original games to be considered seperate franchises.
Index and Railgun (and spinoffs of that, like Accelerator's), since they are related but entirely seperate stories would merit a franchise tag to connect them. Part of the intend is to get people to use tag wikis that we've been neglecting
@Tyhja yes, onomatopoeia expression are strange and often time unrelatable to western languages
The meta is written in order to better explain the intent behind the changes to site tags in regards to series continuity as noted in this meta.
This experiment is being done in an attempt to access the viability of such a change on a community-wide basis. If it is deemed that there is little to...
To younger people, he was Professor Snape. To others, he was Hans Grüber. To the eccentric, he was the Sheriff of Nottingham. To many, he was an excellent actor. By Grabthar's Hammer, he was quite an actor.
he was also Elliot Marston, Metatron, and Marvin, a depressed robot
For example, when Toshinou Kyouko are talking in a 24fps anime, the Key Animator might worked only on the first and last frame, while frame no 2 to 23 are done by the junior
The show I am trying to identify shares some characteristics with The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, namely the elements of time travel and romance. The plot of the show that I am trying to identify involved a girl who was in love with a boy in her class. One day, she overheard the boy jokingly say...
So far, I have 2 versions of how Zeff lost his leg in the past,
1. Manga Version, Zeff ate his own leg to survive.
2. Anime Version, Zeff's foot got stuck in an anchor when saving Sanji underwater. And he never said he ate his own leg.
Note: The flashback is on 18:00 - 20:00 or something.

@Ikaros It's worth a watch, there are only 12 episodes after all :L You'd probably enjoy it more if you've played the game, the plot isn't fantastic, it's more for enjoying the characters than anything imo
Guys, what should I do? I bought male-male cable to use my cellphone as a mic in my laptop. The cellphone plugs fine, but the computer mic input is large, or maybe I bought the wrong cable. If I plug it on the speaker input, the cellphone identifies "a headphone" (what should happen with the mic input). Damn :c
Or would it be up solely to the OP's discretion (in which case, I assume fma-brotherhood might contain questions not in fullmetal-alchemist-manga, given that people seem more likely to have seen the anime)?
@AstralSea Your comment on this question: anime.stackexchange.com/questions/28974/… Perfectly matches the question description. I checked the synopsis of all the time travel anime (that I found listed on the top sites) and none of them seemed to match with the question
If Kurama is really living embodiment of hatred (not some self proclaim title) then what about other tailed beasts. Are they embodiment of something else ?
I started watching anime again and just finished rewatching two animes I liked from a couple years ago. It was "Toradora" and "Say I love you."
I like the school setting in both animes, how friendly everyone was in "Toradora," and how romantic it was in "Say I Love You."
From this, what would yo...
@Chinatsu-creepy-chan if the male-male is smaller on one end then it is probably a 2.5mm plug. The computer probably uses a 3.5mm plug. Something like this should work: amazon.com/Steren-2-5mm-3-5mm-Cable-Stereo/dp/B00291N83O
@Chinatsu-creepy-chan Hmm. I see. I'd suggest using what CuddleBunny sent you or something similar/an earphone with mic. This is the first time I've heard of using cellphone as a mic for comp
@AndrewT. It's totally upto you, IMO. I, for one, tend to avoid answering questions which I know are duplicates. If it's a badly framed question with less details (and hence the downvotes), but you know the answer to it, why not post it? :)
For example: anime.stackexchange.com/questions/25857/… This question was answered properly and has downvotes due to lacking details. Doesn't mean it shouldn't have a good answer
that and as a community I think we're pretty good at finding the answer based on some extremely obscure information and if no one knows it is okay to leave it sit until someone comes along that does
there just needs to be some shred of semi-unique information in the question
@AshishGupta yeah, I'd say that is a solid question. It doesn't readily help any other user, but something about the image inspired curiosity in the asker so perhaps it will inspire the same in future viewers.
TLDR: This is a follow-up to our initial proposal for transitioning to a more user-friendly code license. The purpose of this post is to address the concern expressed most frequently in response to the initial proposal: no attribution requirement. Also, we want to make sure everyone has ample ...
The voting on the previous meta post is not a reliable indicator for how the community views this version of the proposal in my opinion. There are just too many different concerns mixed into this single number. — Mad Scientistyesterday
So I've been kinda chewing on this since your email, because... It's one of those simple questions that defies a simple answer. You're not the only person to raise this concern, of course: several respected users, moderators and even co-workers have expressed dismay upon seeing reasonable questio...
I mean I would love it if you could look at the meta page and see immediately some stats panel which says if users think there is a common sentiment here or if opinions differ, without having to read anything in advance
and for each post, if it's a solution or just a detailed comment
Why did it end in 2012 and when will Studio Pierrot resume its production to finish the reminder in the Thousand Year Blood War(Quincy Saga)as Kubo continues to produce them?
what info I'd like to see on meta posts: Q1. Whether the post is about a problem with the site or something else like asking to explain how something works Q2. If users recognize it as a problem, and it's not made up. Q3. How important users think this problem is. A1. If users think an answer is actually an answer, and not a long comment on the problem. A2. If users think it's a good or a bad solution to the problem.
something about quality as a separate stat should be added I think, but I'm not sure if we get all that, it would be useful
@ʞɹɐzǝɹ: got it. (Not sure if I'm wholly happy with the details, but that makes sense, and I'd have to think through it first before producing any real complaints.) When are we rolling out the changes?
@Hakase So Q1 here is solvable with tags. There's discussion is it's something that needs to be discussed with the community, and support if it's a "not sure how this works" type of thing.
@Hakase Q here denotes stuff you want the question to be able to transmit, and A stuff the answer(s) should be able to transmit? Or am I reading this wrong?
@ToshinouKyouko Ah, nothing to do with me then, sorry :P
@Hakase Basically what you want to get at, is a way for people to understand all of this clearly and fast without having to read through a lot of stuff, and for those who want to express that that's their point of view to be able to do so without having to type a whole lot. That it?
So I've been kinda chewing on this since your email, because... It's one of those simple questions that defies a simple answer. yea nobody got time to read that
basically you can see that the problem hasn't been solved yet if you look at any post with a large number of votes that doesn't say much about the actual opinion of the community
very high − it may be funny, it may be a "happy new thing" post, but what do people really think about it? you can only find in comments or answers
Update: January 15, 2016
Thank you for your candidness, patience and feedback. We're going to delay the implementation for now - we'll be back soon to open some more discussions.

Introduction: the curse of free will
This is a good idea... For those rare discussions that actually lend themselves to it. In my experience, many - if not most - do not. To pull this off, you have to be able to present a topic for discussion in a way that doesn't immediately come off as leading...
@Hakase The problems mentioned there are mostly because of the fact that many users have 101 rep there 'cause of the association bonus and can thus upvote, but can't downvote
@JNat excuse me but I think it's a write-off and not a very good solution. I'm talking about quickly understanding what is what in any meta post, not proposing that every user express their own detailed opinion in a separate answer.
