@Memor-X I've never understood why crash questions were on Arqade rather than SU. Sure, they're about a game, but fundamentally, the problems you're facing have essentially nothing to do with the entertainment aspects, and everything to do with it as a piece of software. It just seems rather arbitrary to me. If anything, I'd think they'd be allowed in both places, but more up SU's alley than Arqade's.
I guess I agree for the most part. Not that I care though. The games I play don't crash often, and when they do it's easier to ask in Japanese than English. It just seems weird to me is all, and not having spent any time on either site, I can't really say much more than that.
@LoganM i think i said this before but Super User won't allow games, second item on the second list, the minecraft question i do see on there for the most part are to do with another piece of software/functionality rather than Minecraft itself
@Memor-X right. Which is weird. There's nothing that really distinguishes a game from any other piece of software except that games are intended to be entertaining.
@SeptianPrimadewa right, given the chances of me finding a PAL Playsation Copy are slim if it's not on PSN i'll probably get the PSP version of the first game and see if i can track down the PS2 game
All the grinding/farming you can do in that game, breaking off boss' body parts or farming certain mobs by breaking small body parts off to get rare drops :P
I understand not wanting questions about gameplay, but for technical questions about games as pieces of software, where the fact that it's a game makes literally no difference, I don't see why they'd block it.
@Memor-X Imo it is, if you're into the sort of RPG where you can grind your butt off to get the perfect gear or just finish it normally (if you're boring like that :P)
@LoganM that's what Software Recommendations talked about when they were in Private Beta, i think in the end they allowed games albeit stricter gudeilines
i think another reason why Arqade is targeted for Crash Dumps is because it's more popular than Super User
@AsadaShino if the game is fun enough yes, in .Hack//G.U before moving onto the next game completed every Book of Ryu before moving onto the next game and that's a pain when it comes to locating every bit of gear and every monster to hunt
@Memor-X Well, monsters have body parts, of which each can have different drops and droprates, some have quite rare drops xD But if I remember correctly bosses are farmable by re-entering their room after you beat them, so you can keep going to get drops~...
I enjoyed the game, so I'd say yes, but I dunno if you're into the type of game :P
But then again, I also enjoyed filling the FF XII license board before the first half of the game...
Off-topic, I actually find it somewhat funny when people on SE are seriously wrong about which sites are the biggest. For example, the folks on Meta SE who still think that SU and SF (the "original trilogy") have the most Q/D out of any non-SO sites. Math gets twice as many as both of them combined, and AU has been effectively tied with SU for 3rd place recently.
@nhahtdh yeh it's ok, just fixed up that point about Shinobu as the fact her family are Vampires comes from Triangle Hearts though in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha she or her family never shows any sign of being a vampire with the exception to when Suzuka uses inhuman strength in that Dodge-ball Match
@AsadaShino i preferred to work based on classes. Penelo was a White Mage with a cross bow and Baltheir was a Black Mage with a gun while Vann was your normal Fighter. only thing was that Penello also learned Syphon since Vann never used MP he was a source for the other 2
@AsadaShino i only farm certain areas where i know that a particular kind of monster will appear, i can kill-chain them, like the Zombies in that underground palace on the way to Arcades where you fight the Mondragora at the start and i think a Lich at the end. just running though that area killing only zombies easily got me a 99-chain and a couple of Festering Flesh drops which sold for ~1500 Gil
kinda says something about Ivalice when people will pay >1000 of rotten human flesh
@Memor-X I like things where everyone is capable of doing everything. How good they are at whatever is dependent on gear and skill/talent configuration.
And skills/talents need to be able to be refunded.
@Memor-X one of these days im going to need a list from you of games to be played. just scrolling up and reading through the kind of game play your talking about intrigues me so so much. and to be honest i havent played any of the FF series (i know its shameful, borderline criminal)..that coupled with some of the other games i have seen you mention before. i need it man. FF or not, any kind of fantasy/J-rpg/music game. what ever you like, if you ever get the time, a list would be greatly

If that's true, I've got barely over 400 px at 100% resolution horizontal in the star list, so 4 per line should be the max. Which seems to be the case with the newest version.
Wow, SO election is up to 9 candidates with at least 38/40 candidate score (4 with perfect 40/40 including @MadaraUchiha).
and just to put it out there, the last one i watched was owari no seraph, and was a serious let down from the manga, as well as just being to rushed/compacted, im hoping now since the prologue is done maybe the other eps in the adaptation wont be as bad, but if they're anything like ep1 it will be horrible.
i have alot of hope for arslan senki though. theres a lot of history there, im putting my faith in it.. haha either that or im to scarred to find out its bad
ViVid looks good too but after i got around 8 min in i realized (and some users on here helped me realize) that i need to go back and watch lyrical nanoha first. so thats on hold for now. but what i did see looked nice!
@ToshinouKyouko (plastic memories)its definitely something different, with a lot of contrasting elements close together, sad-emotional scene backed up to a laughing joke. theres a lot of criticism about it. but i find it refreshing. and i just adore the overall concept
I have a 5-year-old boy who likes to play with girl stuff. He doesn't like to dress up or anything like that, he just loves to dress up the Barbies, and he will even help me with my clothes by telling me which ones he thinks are ugly and so forth. His dad has been absent from his life most of the...

Making an import that has to use geo location stuffs from google geocode~ But geocode api has a 2500 request per 24 hour limit and I have just used up 2400 of them on an import that failed~ -_-
The initial imports will use up 2400 out of the 2500 requests, after which it will only use up requests for changed addresses, but I mistakenly forgot to limit my test imports, so it used up all 2400 X_X
I do not understand the advantage of the popular "hot" and "cold" controls in showers, as opposed to "temperature" and "quantity" controls.
Is it simply because the latter option is harder to implement? Why isn't it more common? It would make much more sense for the user to be able to control th...
I've been thinking of making a code formatting fixer app that would grab all SO posts that have code blocks in it, see if they can be beautified and allow to propose edits (or plain edit instantly if got enough rep)
there are many things to consider while making the algo that would pick the best ways to beautify code blocks
and it doesn't sounds like the result would be cool enough to need this thing
