In the manga Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku, the protagonist Junichiro Koizumi is able to use "goumoupai", the ability to turn any mahjong tile into a white/haku tile simply by gripping it with immense strength, usually leaving the tile dented.
Sure, the manga frequently goes overboard with the abilities...
@Eric Looking into it further, Users actually increases if you do nothing at high traffic levels. So long as you don't spam downvotes, you should be able to get through graduated site phase without any upvotes except when you're in the red.
Just saying, you guys should definitely not validate that. StackEgg has already ticked off a lot of my "this is making me angry" flags. Abusing the chat flag system will not help matters.
I think the biggest problem with StackEgg is that they made it a network-wide thing. There's too much ego involved as soon as you're pitting sites against each other.
SO HOW ABOUT THAT SUMMER ANIME LIST? I HAVE TO SAY THAT I'M NOT TERRIBLY INTERESTED IN ANYTHING ON THERE. WELL, AT LEAST NOTHING REALLY GRABS MY ATTENTION.
We know that both men (e.g. Mendoza) and women (e.g. Ema) can be Makai Priests. And, of course, men can be Makai Knights (Leon, Alfonso, Germán, ...).
But can women be Makai Knights? In episode 24 of Garo: Honoo no Kokuin,
This seems to suggest that women cannot be Makai Knights. Is this in...
The series is about a boy who's best friend's father was the worlds most wanted man but when she was being born her father whent to the hospital to see her but was killed and his soul was transferred to the boy when he was born which was the same day and place which gave the boy a scar and now t...
Easy mode really is easy if you go about it the right way. But most people who try don't know how to do it right.
When you're learning, you should plan to bomb lots of spells. Don't even try to capture them. If you do that, you'll find the resources they give you are actually quite generous to beat the game.
As you know, StackEgg is a game in which each site tries to grow their egg whilst surviving raids from other sites. This thread will be our planning center. Put in the answers proposed targets and times. Vote up if you can join in. Put in the comments when other sites are planning to raid us so w...
April 1st 2015. after every logged in user used a StackEgg Bot on the Anime and Manga Stack Exchange Site, at 11:59 PM the running of every bot began to meld into the next Chat Bot that posted, giving them life as an AIDA
@ʞɹɐzǝɹ oh i can do it, just when i'll do it is another thing, i want to make some scripts for downloading scanlations and doujinshi from sites like dynasty-scan and mangafox first
i'm tempted to post this as a comment to one of the answers on that results meta post
"ofcause we have bots, One is called HoiHoi-san and one is Taisho. i like Taisho for it's posting cute Shoujo Ai/Yuri images i wont have anyone say anything bad about our cute HoiHoi-san"
What about bots guys ?
So yesterday everyone in SE went all furious about how PPCG was raiding other sites and how it was not at all fun and how it was against the spirit of the game!
And here we have anime who are not even playing the game and simply running bots to do the job. Speculatively, ...
^more people claiming that us having fun on our own site in our own way is somehow a problem for them when they don't even use the site, as well as perpetuating the false claim that we have anything to do with raiding them.
(which is to say, there's no realistic difference)
@Memor-X You mean other sites? Or you mean SE themselves?
It would be hard to prove for other sites apart from PPCG themselves and Arqade, both of whom started using bots for many of the same reasons we did (i.e. to combat against bot raids).
Code Golf has won the game
Yeah. Code Golf is the winner of Stack Egg and can now enjoy the rest of the day basking in the admiration of the Stack Exchange network. We are as surprised as anyone that the game is over even before April 1 reached the timezones of most users, but the facts are unde...
@Memor-X Yeah, but the reason I don't like that is because he picked an arbitrary time to post it. Strategies were still changing. Arqade could potentially have taken them over.
He doesn't even say what the criteria is or was.
> We are as surprised as anyone that the game is over even before April 1 reached the timezones of most users, but the facts are undeniable.
@Hakase @Eric We haven't stopped playing. This time is usually off peak for us and from past 12 hours we have been constantly getting raid by 3-4 restart users/bots. So for around 1 hour there, we were simply getting restarted, but we are back on track now.
