Soul Eater Not! is a spinoff manga from the main series Soul Eater. It also has an anime adaption. I've read a couple of volumes of Soul Eater, but when would be the earliest (plot-wise) that I should pick up this sub-series as I'm told many of the characters and plot points are shared?

The only think I'm missing are a good wireless keyboard and mouse to be playing on the TV screen.

@ToshinouKyouko Yeah, I want it to scrape manga websites to provide a search and then get peekshurs as they are requested by the user and downscaled for mobile, to keep bandwidth use down

So I'd have to save downscaled versions of images on the server after downloading them and saving references to them in database

Then the javascript app requests images based on the device's resolution and any other info I can find

It is a service that provides an API for posting and requesting manga, basically.
So it could be possible to connect already working scrapers to this API to centralise collection and serving of manga, in different sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Including a browser-based manga reader to read these manga with, with a search.

How was that :P I'm terrible at this sort of thing, so that is also good practice xD

There are image-resize scripts available to resize full-size pages to different sizes for other devices when requested, that is what I would use for service to something like mobile, though I am not sure, I might just want to not resize for mobile, since the text would be too small if you service it upright in 'mobile' size...

Intended audience:
Post: A developer who has developed a scraper for a website he did not enjoy reading off because of it either being slow or just annoying to read off

Different to existing solutions:
Provide an API for collecting manga through crowd-sourcing, so the collection grows as manga are provided.

To add to the previous, I intended, initially, to write a scraper, but since the base changed from just my lone scraper, I would most likely want to add my scraper separately and have it make use of the API to provide the anime it finds

I know I have written several scrapers in different languages over the years for websites I did not enjoy reading off but I did want to read the manga

I must not be the only person, if this gets some attention, it could be a good one to collect these different manga in one place where you don't have to scrape, but can instead use a public API for requesting these manga

or use the manga-reader on website it would provide, which is the part I am working on at this moment

Q: What anime has a concept where characters have 'life data disks' that they make use of?

I've got a vague memory from when I was younger of watching an anime on the Sci-Fi channel. One scene that sticks in my head involved a character being asked by their motorcycle to insert a life data disk (or something similar?) in order to ride it but that's all I can recall.
