@mixedmath I am a bit surprised at the (lower than I expected) number of candidates. And the lack of interaction either in comments below the the announcements, or those below the answers to the questionnaire.
there are 3344991 pairings among the people at or above 2000. 36 pairs of which are from the current mods on this stack exchange. what are the odds a random pair doesn't do better than a pair of the mods already in power ?
in my experience @SimplyBeautifulArt that would be not very likely. BTW your odds of being in the pair that win the positions is 3/7 as there are currently 21 pairs and 6 pairings you could be in.

@amWhy One question.. dont know if this is off-topic here.. if a nominated candidate's questionnaire and bio on the election page receive only a few comments, does it mean that no one is paying attention to him/her? Simply ignoring that person?
@SimplyBeautifulArt Actually its midnight here... :)
@SchrodingersCat Haha, no. Maybe they just don't have much to say or don't know you that well. Also note that there was a giant wave near the beginning, so later posts may receive less attention.
@SchrodingersCat That's hilarious! And humor is always an asset!
@RoddyMacPhee Then why'd you bring it up? You bring it up; you're inviting folks to respond. You keep it up, and you're egging folks on to respond. If you don't like the response, then naturally, you might want to self-reflect.
@SchrodingersCat Indeed, .... honestly, I believe most users don't care about the election, nor care to learn more, though who knows how many participate in the election this week.
@amWhy Still Its highly suspicious that 90% of the active users of such a huge community have only 10 questions for all candidates... at least 20 of the users should have proper separate questions... like amWhy, Jens, John Ma
