Not sure, I saw reports of blood but nothing beyond reports that he was okay
What you said about the glass fragments makes sense though there has already been a post claiming he was shot in the head though it has been closed and is close to being deleted.
@JoeW i think if such things happened, it would be a huge news and he would get immediate concussion.
The reports that he is fine are why I am thinking the glass fragment is the more likely source of the blood
And so far the event is major news and my phone has blown up about it
Hm. The way Trump was showing fist and behaving normally proved he was probably not shot. Lincoln however also survived the ultimately fatal shot for immediate few hours.
I believe they would milk it to rile up the base.
Statement by Don Jr.
> I just spoke to my father on the phone and he is in great spirits. He will never stop fighting to save America, no matter what the radical left throws at him.
Biden campaign pausing 'communications, TV ads after Trump rally shooting
> Butler county district attorney Richard A Goldinger said that in addition to the two deaths at the Trump rally, one other person was injured, and in “serious condition”.

He also said that the shooter was outside of the security perimeter, meaning he did not go through magnetometers intended to reveal firearms.
> Michelle Altherr, a Republican National Convention delegate from Arizona, stood outside Fiserv Forum rages: “When you think about it, you’re like, no, this just ramped up to another level. If you thought we were MAGA and extreme before, we went to another level now. When you see on the video Trump is mouthing 'fight, fight' — oh, no, he didn’t have to say it. We’re at another level.”

Okay, Trump is claiming it was a bullet.
> Trump says bullet hit ear in rally shooting
He very well knows how to make things up.
Populist leaders benefit highly from these sort of events. Take Bolsonaro, Slovakia's Fico.

That isn't exactly surprising as he will say whatever is needed to fire up the base
Exactly
> The shooter at the Trump rally fired as many as 8 rounds from an AR style rifle while perched on a rooftop adjacent to the venue, law enforcement sources told ABC News. The shooter was 200-300 yards away at the time of the gunfire, the sources said.

Ironically, the flag is inverted, typical of Jan 6.
> At a time when the Democratic Party barely has any fight left, the contrast is astounding.
> Make no mistake, the image of a bloodstained Trump standing with one arm aloft instantly takes its place alongside the greatest photos in American history.
> The shooter has just given him an unparalleled boost in his hopes of becoming only the second-ever president to reclaim the White House after being voted out.

More on Bernie's op-ed at NYT:
> [F]or over two weeks now, the corporate media has obsessively focused on the June presidential debate and the cognitive capabilities of a man who has, perhaps, the most difficult and stressful job in the world. The media has frantically searched for every living human being who no longer supports the president or any neurologist who wants to appear on TV. Unfortunately, too many Democrats have joined that circular firing squad.
> Yes. I know: Mr. Biden is old, is prone to gaffes, walks stiffly and had a disastrous debate with Mr. Trump. But this I also know: A presidential election is not an entertainment contest. It does not begin or end with a 90-minute debate.

Enough! Mr. Biden may not be the ideal candidate, but he will be the candidate and should be the candidate. And with an effective campaign that speaks to the needs of working families, he will not only defeat Mr. Trump but beat him badly. It’s time for Democrats to stop the bickering and nit-picking.

GOP lawmakers often wear AR-15 badges.

Joe Biden has spoken with Donald Trump, Reuters reports.

> Law enforcement officials say they believe they know who carried out the shooting at Trump’s Pennsylvania rally, but will not be releasing his name until there’s an official confirmation.

Authorities are doing DNA testing to confirm his identity because the suspect did not have ID.
The Wikipedia article was already renamed/moved: Attempted assassination of Donald Trump

> There’s an untrue assertion that a member of the former President’s team requested additional security resources & that those were rebuffed.

This is absolutely false. In fact, we added protective resources & technology & capabilities as part of the increased campaign travel tempo.
- Secret Service chief of communications, Anthony Guglielmi

> Law enforcement officials also told the Associated Press they believe that the weapon the 20-year old suspect used in his attempt to assassinate Trump was purchased by his father at least six months ago.
I still don't have any idea why in the world AR-15 is not banned. Then there were Thomas and Alito who made machine guns unofficially legal.
17:13
> We are hearing from the first classmate of Thomas Crooks. His Bethel Park classmate described him as a loner who was bullied relentlessly and wore “hunting” outfits often in class.
18:18
> We don’t yet have any information about the motive of the shooter. We know who he is. I urge everyone, everyone, please don’t make assumptions about his motives or his affiliations.
> Let the FBI do their job, and their partner agencies do their job. I’ve instructed that this investigation be thorough and swift, and the investigators will have every resource they need to get this done.
- Biden
J D Vance would still be blaming him.

How to fix or address plus my comments in the answered post: politics.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/6948/…. Am I just being a baby, trying to cheat, have valid concerns or what is the perspective if there is any insight regarding the SE Politics matter?
