> Biden’s greatest asset in 2020 was his ability to gather up the diverse strands of an anti-Trump coalition in one inoffensive campaign. He won over suburban centrists like Phillips in a way that Sens. Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren could not have done. He earned support from leftists like Tlaib who might never have voted for Michael Bloomberg or Pete Buttigieg.
> The president’s fate in 2024 depends on whether he can accomplish the same feat again. Right now, every poll shows that is not happening.

Deriding Tlaib and Phillips as gadflies is easy. Confronting the cracks in the Biden coalition that they represent is much harder.

Thankfully we still have plenty of time and that those polls also show that Trump would loose support if convicted of crimes. Given that he has already lost his New York civil fraud trial and appears to have lied on the stand convictions are likely.

@JoeW has there been any poll of a potential Gavin run?
Not that I have seen, I am guessing they have been done but show that he is unlikely to win the democratic primary so people just don't care about them
Ohh. I see.
@User1865345 no nation-wide polls that I know of, there was one of Newsom vs. DeSantis in California, and one of the same matchup in Nevada.
Thanks @CDJB. Looking into them.
Latino is a wide community. They could have stratified the results further. But it does give a picture.
Yes, thanks for that information

I don't know upto what point DeSantis would face the reality that he has missed his chance. He wanted to be Trump when one could get the original one easily.

> In a statement, the district said the whole show needs to be postponed because of sexual content and profanity.
Pretty sure that has been a popular high school musical over the years
