@El'endiaStarman oh yes!
not as good as chip's challenge
or Hover!

I remember really liking Chip's Challenge when I was younger. Especially the South Pole level.
"Hover" does not ring a bell for me.

hover is more obscure
it doesn't appear in menus IIRC
but I found it randomly when exploring folders on my machine
it's basically capture the flag
but the hovercraft is really hard to control, and there are various boosts, etc
@El'endiaStarman I'm always impressed by the total number of levels in Chip's challenge
Just looked it up: 149
Although, apparently, the game was ported several times and gained additional levels each time

Found it online and wow this is hard. hover.ie/#single-player/play

one the big reasons it is memorable to me is because it was so well hidden
i wasn't looking for games, but out of the blue there was one tucked away
it definitely kindled the curiosity of what else the computer held

3:53 AM
That's pretty neat.
@NathanMerrill Let's try this: hover.ie/#mp/470567180

4:36 AM
back :)

Huh, I would've expected the option to reply against the same people. hover.ie/#mp/227341021

I thought I was collecting blue flags
and kept on bumping into it and couldn't figure out why :P

Yeah, I had the same issue when I tried it the first time. :P
[grumble] Okay, one more time? hover.ie/#mp/1251054008

lol ok
joy
I just fell through the floor

waaat
How??

4:46 AM

You made it back!

lol yeah
no idea how. Apparently traps go through the floor?

Hmm, they do make your hovercraft lower down, but they probably shouldn't go that low.

Right, but clearly you just program it to ignore height, right?
the game is basically a 2d game with the exception of springs and ramps
also, there are more levels than that one
that's definitely the most memorable one to me
but I remember other levels

Yeah, there's three in the single player.

4:49 AM
ok, good :)

2 hours later…
7:01 AM
@DJMcMayhem I gave away a few games I got through humble monthly that I already had. Yooka-Laylee might have been one of them, but I'm not sure.
