In the event that some nut-job assassinates McConnell and then claims in court that he did so on the "rightful president's" order, that would make a very good case, I believe, against Trump for murder. January 6th all over again.

there's a aprt of me that wants to see the midterms go against the norm just to show these people that their little rallies are just full of sycophant's loosers who fly around like groupies while most of America, both Democrat and Republican supporters alike, despise the Trumper Republicans who are ruining the what little creditability the GOP had left
......but there's also another part of me that know that if the midterms does go against the norm, the Trump GOP will be enflamed and using it as their "proof" that the elections are rigged against them
because these people only think in absolutes (like the Sith lol). your either with them and kissing Trump's holy orange ass, or your a democrat out to destroy them and the country. you can't be a Republican and not support Trump, just not possible for these people to comprehend (eg, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney)
infact on Sky News Australia, James Morrow has this program that he claims is supposed to be "balanced opinions" about US Politics going into the midterms but in the ad the guest they show off say that there are 2 types of people, those who hate Liz Cheney, and those who hasn't met her
(though not surprising, James Morrow is out of the hosts from Outsiders who peddled Trump's unfounded claims of election fraud)
