@Memor-X It might seem bad, but there are 2 things to keep in mind: 1. Most of the gas in this pipeline would end up burned anyway, which would add to emissions anyway. 2. The estimate of leaked gas would be about 230-240 thousand tons of methane. Current estimates for regular leakage in the US alone is between eight and thirteen MILLION tons per year
