First of all, the salient problem of Cambridge Analytica is not "Facebook has access to so much data". And Obama's presidential campaign(s) did not "do the same thing". Yes, Obama collected info through Facebook. The key difference is that Cambridge Analytica collected info from Facebook friends without permission.
