Like....Toronto rent is already fucked, going "if you build a new building it doesn't have to have rent control" just means it's going to be more fucked, and the fuckery is going to spread to places like my city, where they are putting up new buildings like it's Christmas or some shit because no one can afford to live in TO so they're all coming here and next thing you know I won't be able to afford to live here either

The machines in question only provide data via a proprietary program and these people had need to have that data without the constant involvement of their doctor

Ah, mine puts the data in an SD card that I'm supposed to give to my doctor.

I haven't scheduled an appointment with my doctor since I got the machine.

I suppose I should...

Yeah, the article says that there's a shortage of sleep specialists so they check the card for insurance compliance reasons but don't always check the actual diagnostic data to make sure the patient is getting the best care
