Oh definitely. It's a pretty old-fashioned thing. If it weren't for some legal/socioeconomic stuff being 'better' for married people, I think no one would anymore.
@AlexRobinson I don't know. But at this point, I am sometimes thinking the same about this site :P
I feel like IPS has a pretty well defined scope even if a lot of the new questions don't read / understand it. and sure its inactive compared to a few years back and even then wasn't exactly big but i like this site
just conceptually I feel like "lifehack" is a very poorly defined thing and i've seen far too many videos of idiots with a knife and plasters all over their fingers making "lifehacks"
upon having a look at the recent questions i feel like people aren't looking for lifehacks they're looking for how to perform slightly obscure household tasks?
or how to fix errors induced by incorrectly applying "lifehacks" / doing them wrong
Oh, that might be true. But looking at the recent questions here... it probably feels like people aren't looking for interpersonal skills but for how to perform slightly obscure thinking and how to fix errors induced by incorrectly applying logic :P
@AlexRobinson I think it was Gretzky who said "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take"
One thing about getting married, just thinking about it makes you really ponder "do I want to be with this person down the road". It gets rid of a tendency to drift. Unless you are stupid like I was with my first wife. And of course, there are the legal aspects, which can be pretty significant.
