@Sarov You don't usually swap out water for vodka XD You add increasing (but small) quantities of e.g. rum/liquor to cola.

@Tinkeringbell I had a bottle of Connecticut moonshine that was 100 proof-ish, and had absolutely no taste. That was great in drinks as it didn't make their taste change at all

@RoryAlsop Oof, that's dangerous :P

but that was for my drinks, not for anyone else :-)

Yeah, it sounds as something that's too hard to come by to even consider giving away ;)

@JourneymanGeek I assume that wouldn't be feasible if you're hammered, though.

2:06 PM
@Tinkeringbell Ehh, same thing, right? :P

I guess so, yes. I think the hard part is going to be claiming that you didn't know something was wrong before you stepped in your car though.
I don't remember anything from that night. But apparently eye-witnesses say I had enough sense to know something was wrong and wanted to leave, desperately.

Fair.

Someone knows about barycentric interpolation with a function evaluated on two parameters, i.e. f(x,y) ?

I think you're looking for a more mathematics themed chatroom :D

you are right, i have chosen the wrong one
sorry!

heaps everlasting shame

@John_maddon No worries! You're always welcome here, but don't scare us with functions again :P
Interpersonal Skills people are... usually a bit more social studies minded than STEM :P

Usually.
This being what it is, disproportionately large population is software developers.
Though my knowledge of math stops at basic calculus.

I can do addition, subtraction, multiplication and division... and coordinates :P

Weird part is, I remember I was adding/subtracting, and even multiplying fractions before I wrapped my head around division.
Not sure how I was able to comprehend 2/3 * 2/5 = 4/15 but not 6 ÷ 2 = 3.

2:49 PM
I always had a bit of trouble with fractions. More than with percentages.

Percentages are just decimals.
