@ExtrovertedMainMan I just read this question and I am honestly sad for the OP. My mom is a bit like that and it's bad enough already. I really wouldn't want to be in OP situation
@Ael It's annoying, yes... but over a course of 2 years and if you plan everything 6 months in advance, I can imagine a lot changing.... I have my personal list for the new contractor of things I want to ask them wrt changing.
Building or fixing a place is like that, and I get the impression these plans are months old by the time OP starts working on them, without checking with the wife first.
Though, IMO, if it was just a concern about "changing her mind", the OP would be fine. But the way they talk about it, it seems like the wife didn't just change her mind but completely forgot about the whole thing. I find that very worrysome
That's true. Though I think OP might be doing plans for an entire room, and if their wife is only agreeing to e.g. the color on the walls but thinks the details can be discussed once they start the project.... of course she might not remember agreeing to those.
Am I over-engineering if, when I add controls to our pipeline that logs errors on defects, I unitary test the controls so I know they control the defects they are supposed to detect?
If you don't understand the question, I count your vote as "Yes"
@AJ Nice and sweet cat, it's just that the color of its "hat" is ugly, and the color of the "Happy New Year!" text is ugly too (I' kidding, ask me if someone doesn't get the joke).
@lila <serious face> Yeah, this lila color is very ugly. I don't understand why someone would want to use such a color. Even less call themself by it. </serious face> :p
So I've been with my girlfriend for a little over two years and up until about a month ago everyday has been amazing with her she's definitely my soul mate.....so in the beginning of dec this year my girlfriends ex husband committed suicide they have to twin girls together there 6yrs old now

Two things jump out for me: "Implying I'm lying" is much worse than any other issue. And have you considered telling her everything you told us, that it's a demoralizing pattern to you whether she recognizes it or not? I was with an oppositional spouse (No, I'm not), and the best we could do was divide the apartment into territories where each was in charge of decor. The other had to wait two weeks before criticizing a change. — Yosef Baskin2 mins ago
I love this crazy little town at times. Despite there being a ban on the sale of fireworks this year, there's been sooo much fireworks still, this evening still feels normal :D (okay except the hugs and kisses from neighbors, but I'll never miss those anyways)
