Yes, the veg was angel hair shred cabbage. I laddled some of the juices from the pot into a wide pan, reduced it & used that to cook the cabbage.

FWIW, my cooking rut tends to get resolved when I try to turn an unlikely collection of left overs into meal. I made my first soup of autumn that way; on a cold day, even if it doesn't end inspired, it's still nice to have hot soup.

Ooh that is kind of exciting. My one qualm is that you'd probably have to rewrite a good chunk of the codebase to abstract any dependencies so that you can properly test. And if there's one thing I've seen, it's that convincing management that I need to go into a hole where I won't be producing any new features or fixing bugs for X weeks to "make the code base cleaner and more reliable" is Very Hard.

Yeah, I heard about it. But I'm not sure I completly understand the idea. I mean, if you liked an answer very much, why not just bounty it? What is the point of an election? Sounds a bit too much like a popularity contest (in the bad way) to my taste. I don't know, right now, the idea of such an election make me stress. I don't want people to feel like there as been some unfairness at play. So yeah, I would rather just stick to the bounties (and encourage you all to award some from time to time)
