GaMen :)

5:12 AM
uhm... Thanks? '^.^

2 hours later…
7:13 AM
Morning!

Good one :)

@dhein Meh, this one still has to prove itself ;)

C'mon give it a chance xP
how are u doing?^^

7:54 AM
@dhein I'm either still getting a cold, or yesterday was the worst and today is slightly better (I don't know yet :P). And as for work, I'm busy and not busy at the same time, and I still have that thing with the coworker that isn't doing a good job of teaching me to solve.
It's a hard thing, as that's the same coworker with that us-vs-them mentality regarding the males on the team, that I wrote a question about recently. So I fear that if she comes back and I've switched mentors she's not going to take it well :/

Seems like a "It'd be easier to ditch the company for a new job than resolve this" type of situation

8:15 AM
@Magisch Perhaps, and I'm keeping eyes open for new opportunities. But then again this is manageable, I should think of myself sometimes and while I can try to limit hurting others feelings, I don't think it's fair to let myself be hurt in the process...
This thing with the coworker I can manage. Ælis gave a good answer there, that made me realize she's just doing this to hear what she wants to hear, and that there's not really any way to stop her without hurting her feelings.

Seems exhausting

@Magisch You reach a point where it's no longer your problem, and then it suddenly isn't anymore :P
If she's just doing this to hear what she wants to hear, it's not my problem to worry about her if she keeps doing it and I have to keep doing my thing ;)

Was it ever?
It depends how much you care about her friendship. If you don't then it was never your problem to solve

Well, I made it my problem for a while when I decided I wanted to somehow do something right for her... Took me a while and a question on IPS to figure out that was probably the wrong way to go about it.

I might lose the friendship, but then again I'm not really interested in pretending to be someone I'm not just for the sake of a 'friend'.
I would still have liked it if we'd have been friends, but that's relationships sometimes :P
She shouldn't have the change for me either, so people sometimes are just incompatible

Thats a thing to consider. If you have to bend yourself and pretend a whole bunch of stuff you don't believe in to retain a friend, wouldn't it be kinder to be honest and let the cards fall where they may

8:23 AM
@Magisch Well, sometimes you can both skip the pretending and accept there's a difference and work around it, but it seems this isn't one of those cases.
Too bad, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a real friend :)

Ideological differences can be a dealbreaker depending on how central to one's personality the ideology is
2

@Tinkeringbell Oh gosh... this day has a quite hard job proving them self then, tho. :O But its now a diferent coworker than the one stressing you weeks ago? Cause then I might not even be up to date. Gonna check your post for being updated xP

@dhein Yeah, I got rid of the male problematic coworker just to get a female one with some problems in return. But like I just discussed with Magisch, these problems are more on an ideological differences level, not really that much interfering with the work itself. So they're a bit easier to manage for now :)

@Tinkeringbell Absolutely. Just figured that my self. If people force you into a situation where you have to either hurt yourself or them... Why pick yourself? its them having brought you there... And since I convinced my self living that philosophy.... makes a lot easier, and isn't as hard to justify for my own conscience as I was thinking first '^.^

I thank my lucky stars regularly that my coworkers are if a little quirky largely ok and pleasant to work with

8:32 AM
@Tinkeringbell Yeh yeh lets make it a gender thing xP Haha and yeh, just skipping through your conversation

no ego trips, extremists or jerks all around

@Magisch yeah..... Its so nice being at such a workplace. Never thought before how much of a difference that can make :o
Cause I never before was in such a team.

@Magisch If I could, I'd go back to the team I started with (only that the project we were working on is discontinued, so the team was disbanded). I still go to one of my coworkers birthday parties each year, and sometimes we meet up at the office on Friday so we can have the Friday afternoon drinks together.
Those guys were great too. I think this team is also pretty great, don't get me wrong... there's no real egotripping, extremism or jerks in this one... I just made my life hard by wanting to make friends with someone that would not work out ;)

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone! Except Mith.

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ why are you so mean to them?

10:33 AM
@avazula Hi alone one :)

@avazula Arch enemies can't not be mean
Keyboard warriors code

@Ælis Hey you ♥

<3

Slowly stepping back

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ The only arch enemy to me is metal!

10:36 AM
Yeah he's a jerk
@Mith who's metal?

15 hours ago, by Mithrandir
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ *pats @M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ on the head*

THAT'S IT. Go sit in the corner and think about what you said.

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Wolverine, I think.
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ I am in the corner. That's how my desk is set up, in the corner surrounded by bookcases :P

Well then turn around and face the wall. You're supposed to feel bad about the punishment.
I'm not angry. Just disappointed.

@avazula I can't quite tell if you two are about to start a secret society or fight

10:40 AM
@Magisch What if we are about to start a secret society to fight the injustice in the world?

Why make it secret, then?

You don't look like the Raas al Ghul type. I hope I spelled that right.
You need a twisted ideology. Mith is suitable for the job.

@Mithrandir Isn't secret society always better than just regular society? Didn't you learn nothing reading book??? :p

You also need to sacrifice lots of things. Like knee skin and pants.

@Ælis depends on how you go about it and how many Aelis are involved.

10:43 AM
Oh not that discussion again. It's scary to think of robotic clones with the character Æ in their name. Disturbingly dystopian

@Magisch Well, obviously, every single Ælis would be involved! We all like the idea of being part of a secret society :p

I am part of a secret society.
Now you wouldn't know if I'm joking or not, or I wouldn't have said that out loud. Maybe that implies I AM part of one?

"the society of extra kidneys"

Now you know too much, Jar Jar Binks.
I would curse you with a kidney spell but they're typically gross and characteristically yellow and warm.

@Mithrandir I first read it as: "the society of extra kindness". I thought that was cute, now I'm disappointed

10:48 AM
Oh I am definitely a very kind person.
Isn't it obvious?

@Magisch truth is we're just about to see each other IRL
once again*

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ You're definitely a... kind of person.
@avazula Nice! \o/

I'm one of a kind

@Mithrandir That will be the third time :D

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ What's the latest with your kidneys, BTW?

10:50 AM
Working like clockwork. Can't say the same about immunosuppressors' side effects though.
Or maybe I can. Language is weird.
The first two are more like dead batteries of the clock tho

11:03 AM
my path of exile hoodie arrives soon
then I will have even more swag to wear

@Magisch I think you'll have to wait till winter though? :P Hoodie sounds hot for this weather ;)

@Tinkeringbell I wear hoodies even in the summer :P
Besides, I already have a path of exile tshirt
and when they launch the merch store, I'll get a couple more tshirts. I also have my SE Tshirt

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Well, its more like.... "he" injected me something and I wasn't sure what thats gonna do to me. So out of politeness reasons I asked "Thanks?" Cause I wasn't sure if I have to thank, so better being save than sorry ^^

@Magisch Nice! I was thinking of getting a few pretty basic shirts myself, but I'm not sure yet. I still have a lot of fancy shirts still lying around.
I do have an SE and an SO shirt, they're pyjama's ;)

I have a Chem T-shirt, and mug

11:16 AM
^^she's a heathen

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ That sounds like my usual weekend.... x'D

Well-established royalty among the swag.

@Mithrandir Hey... I'm not! They're very cherished pyjama's ;)

@Mithrandir why you

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Am I allowed to make a really bad joke on it? I feel its not appropiate doing so without permission >.<

11:19 AM
@Tinkeringbell I wear my SE shirt to work

@dhein I've been mostly making inappropriate jokes; the sword can cut both sides

@Magisch It's too cold here to wear t-shirt to work ;)

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ So you are one off a kidney, aswell '^.^

Ha well, that'd be funnier if it was technically accurate
I have three kidneys

oh isn't it?
And one of them is off. Isn't it? otherwise, I take the shame on me :P

11:21 AM
Off in the sense of?
Unless your species has four :p

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ disconnected? :P
Not doing anything?

missing lacking, you no by having 9 being 1 off 10
^^
Or that. xD

I didn't donate, I received

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ yeah, but one of them left you while doing their duty, didn't they? So I think my pun wasn't thaaaat bad x)
But partially I agree with ur point :P

Yeah yeah whatever

11:25 AM
:D :D

I'm just a bit temperamental because Skeptics has been particularly boring the past few days
Where are anti-vaxxers when you need them?

that's a victory for me x) Not that ambitious in that regards x)
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Ikr xD

Or flat-earthers. They actually come up with funnier things
Like this guy that said Earth is expanding to try to explain the continental drift without plates
LOL, Earth doesn't keep its farts inside I'm sure

I wonder, how is skeptics policy, if a question is phrased that way: "Hey, I read this article about the earth being a sphere[...], any one having some backup for that?" I mean it would be a on topic question, wouldn't it? '^.^

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ That just begs the question where the additional water is coming from given that the sea level does not lower constantly

11:29 AM
It wouldn't. It has to be a notable, widely believed claim by actual people, made by an actual person/organization, and there's the implicit "why do you ask this? What makes you doubt it?" part.
The wackos never fulfill this requirement

@Magisch God, isn't that hard is it? Its expanding mass, on a flat 2dimensional area... so its just pushing away the water in the same places...

I also suspect that any claim that can be conclusively disproven by looking at the horizon from any altitude more then 50 or so meters above the ground is a bit too "easy" to get a full answer treatment on skeptics.SE

@Magisch We make up for it by peeing. #Legit_science

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Hahaha I see. So its a bit discriminative towards those who don't belive in science and academics xP

@dhein If incompetence breeds your definition of discrimination

11:32 AM
Also, I always wonder what stops the flat earthers from flying in a hot air baloon for an hour. I've done it, it's not really expensive, and from up there you can quite obviously see the entire thing is a sphere.

There have been at least a number of science skeptics there I'm sure

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ That wasn't what I said, but kinda what I meant, yeah ^^

And sometimes they do get meaner comments than usual.

never mind science, any single person can disprove the flat earth thing with their very own eyes

Also some bias against faith and religion, naturally. But it's usually the other side that tends to be more ignorant/rude/whatever

11:33 AM
@Magisch Well, cause they had to start over from scratch with their literal world views then... ^^

And worth mentioning they usually know how to argue and what to say and not to say but the other side usually doesn't.

Unlike the more muddy conspiracy theories the flat earth thing is just too easy to disprove to be convincing or entertaining tbh

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ You might have mistaken me here. Discriminating isn't necessarily a bad notated term for me. ;)

@Magisch . . . I find it funny that civilization claims to be at its peak yet we're behind ancient Greeks in some aspects.
@dhein As I said, depends on your definition
Wait, did I say it

Ever been to an ocean? You can see the curvature of the earth on the beach with your eyes

11:36 AM
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ You kinda did

@Magisch Well the basics aren't

@Magisch Stop trying to convince me! I dont wanna belive!!!! xD

But the explanations they come up with
The problem with political conspiracy theories is that at the expense of entertainment, someone is always going to frown at you no matter which side you're on

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Yeah, I had that one neighbor who actually denied that the holocaust had taken place. And when ever he came up with the reasons for it, I just told him, give me a day time to inform my self about it to disprove you, I can't come up with an counter argument now out of my mind. He allways wanted to continue that discussion right away. When I then came back to him the next day.... The discussion from the previous day wasnt important to him anymore.
And he started another point....
After the 3rd or 4th time I jsut gave up even trying to convince him being wrong, as he simply wasn't receptive for rational thinking

The only winning move is not to play with some people.

11:40 AM
Yep.

Like, whatever you throw at them won't convince them.
Can you convince them Luxembourg exists?
Every picture can be edited, people can be brainwashed, and the media is definitely this rich minority lobbying to hide the truth
BBL lunch

enjoy it :)

@dhein It's a lot easier and quicker to make halfway plausible sounding BS up then researching the truth
I somewhat get some of the more obscure conspiracy theories because the law of never attributing to malice what can be caused by incompetence is ambiguous and people look for patterns in everything, but stuff like flat earth I don't get because it's like saying gravity doesn't exist, reality is so often going to just disprove you why keep going?

12:03 PM
@Magisch Well, the problem with that guy was, he had an counter argument against anything I said. So just comming up with half plausible bullshit wasn't working, as I couldn't disprove his handwaved counterarguments, as I didn't know which part of it was partially true and which wasn't. He was good at this. So not putting effort in to disprove him, felt not satisfying ^^

12:14 PM
@dhein Never is even when they're not good at it
If they do change their mind, it means the idea wasn't fixated enough
So the entire situation will boil down to a "whatever"
If they firmly believe in it, then they won't change their mind, no matter how insurmountable the evidence seems to be
See, I used a long word. I must be right.

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Yeah, but for me it was way more satisfying having done my research to backup my claims, to see how his coutnerarguments fail and observe him still thinking he was right. And by the way, I even suceeded. at one point in the mayn discussions we had, he actually admitted, that my point technically could be true, it just feels not realistic for him. And that was the last time he engaged discussing that topic with me. So I think it was worth the effort :)
And also the autist within me couldn't accept throwing arguments at him, I couldn't even be sure about being true myself. :P
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Most of the times that's how it ended, yeah ^^
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ :'D

Bruh Link
How do i post links :/
Dammit i feel like an idiot now..

12:29 PM
@Xosrov (text)[actual link]

Thx

And don't use multiline messages 'cause it doesn't work in those :)

Anyway WTF is that?? O.o
Some CREEPS are hijacking cameras

No clue, you're asking a chatroom full of people interested in Interpersonal Skills ;)

Ow.. Well i saw awkward and got drawn in
😅

12:32 PM
@Xosrov And you're always welcome here ;) I just don't know much about hacking camera's, and knowing the crowd here, I don't think many do. Perhaps the main chatroom for infosec can be more enlightening :)

Hahaha thats the mind manipulating magic of interpersonal skills, you know :P

@dhein Well i guess it worked then :)
I don't know i just needed someone to speak to i guess. This place is so full of smart people i Don't think i fit in quite well

@Xosrov Oh, if you look someone to talk to rather than asking about specific details about some technics, I think you are then indeed at the right place x)

Thank god :D

@Xosrov Oh, don't worry. You already have more SO rep than me (I only have the association bonus there :P). There's all sorts of smart, you'll find your place :)

12:37 PM
@Xosrov If you need people to speak to, you came to the right chatroom ^^ Also, "This place is so full of smart people" are you talking about us or the people in "infosec"? Because I don't see what makes you think we are so smart ^^'

@Ælis What doesn't mean we aren't xP

@Ælis I don't I don't talk w people that much so i just assume they're all smart
Grade A logic
I guess :D
And besides you people are smart :P

@Xosrov It works to compliment others so not generally a bad thing :P

@dhein Well, I'll say we are probably average. Some people smart about some stuff, other smart about other stuff and just average overall. And, since we all care about interpersonal skills here, maybe we can say that we are nicer than average since we all are trying to be

@Ælis well if some are smart in that context and others in this... and then we are smart in average! x'D
And about the niceness... Totally agreed xP

12:43 PM
@Xosrov If you assume people are smarter than you, you will be more afraid to talk to them. That's why I prefer to assume people are just as smart as me, no more, no less

I am afraid though

@dhein Yeah, and we are totally impartial on that subject :p

I'm so scared what others might think about me
I wanna talk about so many things but i don't want people to pity me either
So i prefer the safest option
Not talking

@Xosrov Yeah, I often get that too. Also, I was curious and a bit terrified the first time I talked in this chatroom. It was very intimidating ^^

We don't bite. Except maybe @M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ. But if he bites you, smack him and he'll back down.

12:46 PM
@Ælis What about making no assumptions at all and just figuring. I actually just approach people to figure exactly that xP
@Ælis ALLWAYS!^^

Well the thing with people is
Once you tell them something

Haha I see you guys are getting along. So I am leaving you now for today. :D have a nice one :)

It might change their whole view of you
Bye :)

@Xosrov Yeah, but that can also be a good thing ;)

@dhein Have a good day!
@dhein That too, but if you can't stop your brain from making assumptions, imagining that the other person is just like you help reduce the anxiety you get about talking to them

12:50 PM
Aww i just saw the cutest cat sitting on the wall

@Xosrov Picture?

how do you post pictures?
Dammit it ran off :(((

If you're not on mobile, there should be an "upload" button to the right.

If you are using a phone, I don't know. But if you are using a computer, there is an "upload" button next to the "send" one

Any other way? For mobile?

12:55 PM
@Xosrov So that we can still see a picture of cute cat:

@Xosrov Load the full desktop site
Then the upload button appears ;)

You can upload it on the main site, copy the address, and paste the URL here.

@Mithrandir Dang! Sorry, I taught them wrong ;)
And I even checked... blegh :/

So can you guess where im from?

Bad mod!

@Tinkeringbell bo worries we all make mistakes :)

1:03 PM
@Xosrov Probably the same place as @M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ ;)

@dhein I disagree with your interpretation. You can't gain social skills simply by reading IPS and voting on posts, which is the equivalent to the question of giving more "likes" on social media. There's some to be gained by commenting, posting, and discussing with people online, but that's not what the original question was about, and still, that wouldn't give you the social skills needed to talk to people in person. — David K 26 secs ago

Technically I'm supposed to learn Arabic, but... the script is proving a little hard to decipher.

Truly a "easy to learn, hard to master"
Also to German people: why do you have such a difficult grammar
Anyhow I'm gonna go now, talking with you bunch was fun :) Hope I wasn't too bothersome. Have a good day/night!

@Xosrov Did you try to learn French? Because I never learn German, but French grammar is quiet awfull ^^ (and it was done on purpose, so that the noble could distingue themselves from the uneducated)
@Xosrov Good day to you too and feel free to come back any time! :)

Do we have any site policies around using religious texts as backup for answers?
I couldn't find anything on meta when I searched, but I wondered if anyone knows of something that I don't. I'll probably write a meta about it later if we don't have anything

JAD
@Rainbacon wouldn't that be a cultural thing?

@Rainbacon I was wondering the same thing this morning. But religion isn't the same thing as interpersonal skill (it's just a moral guidline) so I decided that religious text wasn't enough of a back-up (also, in this case, the backup was just a one-liner which I feel wasn't enough)

@Tinkeringbell I am pretty aware of this happening to me too often. So I had anyways no inten to dig anyfurther I just made that comment to clarify my point of the critique I had :)

@dhein Don't get me wrong, I'm not fond of that answer either (it has no backup, except some kind of philosophical quote from which the OP seems to have done their reasoning...), and they don't really explain how to do the things they're suggesting OP should do...

@JAD That was my thought. I could see where it might be useful to say, your friend was raised as this religion, so they may be acting according to these guidelines, but I'm not sure if it's sufficient to say, you can solve this problem you are having by doing X because this religion teaches that as the right way to act.

1:42 PM
I'll do some moderating on that Q&A once I get home, if the community doesn't beat me to it ;)

@Ælis I think I'll write a meta about it later today

@Tinkeringbell dont worry, I got you right. Just wanted to let you know I have no intends to start a discussion there but just made the last 2 comments to make my point from the first comment clear so people will see if I got the answer wrong in the first place.
(What happens quite often to me and from your first message it appears to me happened here, too)

In fact, I might extend it beyond just religious texts. I've noticed that the user who posted the religious example as backup has made a habit of using some sort of quip from a historical figure as "backup" to their posts.

Good morning all :)

@Rainbacon I already dropped a comment for them on one such answer ;-) But indeed, most of their answers can use a good comment and editing
We have our citation policy, I think you might not even need a meta ;)
At least, not to find out if it's okay :)

1:51 PM
@ElizB Good afternoon :p

@Ælis Good afternoon to you :)

2:13 PM
@Tinkeringbell I've been thinking a bit about this for a few weeks now, and I think the recent examples are evidence that we might need to refine our citation policy to include better detail on what exactly makes for a good citation.
Either that, or we as a community need to do a better job of communicating in our comments what it means to actually back up an answer.

@Rainbacon I personally think that we could perhaps add a line to the objective part about suggested approaches, and then focus on that in our comments as well. Anyhow, answers should focus on backing up their suggested approaches, not the underlying philosophy/opinion ;) I really think it might be mostly and best remedied with comments, more than long meta posts ;)

interpersonal.stackexchange.com/q/21726/1599 Any thoughts on the comment I left there?

Looks like a good comment, and I agree that there is definitely an interesting core question in there.

Great! Because after I posted it I thought about getting up their hopes, and afraid that once they actually posted in the Sandbox, y'all would shut them down anyways ;)

@Tinkeringbell If you are afraid of that, maybe adding a link to our "good question" faq could help (so that the sandboxed question is good enough for the community to want to improve it further)

@Ælis The point is that for academic research questions, there isn't really going to be any 'what did you do/considered but didn't do'... no real goal (other than to find the recommended guidelines)... so that faq is a bit more tailored to subjective questions than the scientific ones.

True that :/

@Alex One of my best assassins. He failed, however. Some false sense of morality.

You could ask whether they want to talk about the actual injury, or not. That probably makes a whole lot of difference ;) But that can be done when there's a Sandbox post :)

@Tinkeringbell Good comment but there are at least several good questions to be asked on the topic and the question is too, too, too, too broad.
Too

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Perhaps :) But we kinda need to start somewhere. If you have any ideas of potential questions to be asked though, go ahead and dump them in a comment there or (if it's posted there) the sandbox! :)

Q: Will translations be an improvement?

Fizik26Will the website be translated in time? Is it in the process? It will 'seduce' a lot of Asian people. For example, what can be a lot of new contributors and also for people who don't speak English. Thanks for your response and if you want to talk about this subject, let's go :)

Seduce o.o
Next up on IPS: How can I avoid awkward situations when I'm behind a language barrier and don't know the necessary connotations of using a word.
With a dot.

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Just pretend you don't know what "awkward" measn either.

@Alex I have an affection to your line of thought

Great!

Don't obtain any opinions.

Even better!

so I just ran across another answer that is on the verge of deletion, yet nobody has commented or downvoted.. PSA time: if you're delete-voting, you really ought to be downvoting too

May 18 '18 at 12:53, by Tinkeringbell
PSA: If you recommend deletion in the review queue, it helps to open the post in a new tab and cast a downvote :) Negatively scored posts get deleted automatically if the whole community agrees it should be deleted.

Why I'm saying this: I just had one that I had to delete manually with a score of 1 and no downvotes. If enough people had voted to put that at -1 (and keep it there, so -2/3 might be safer)... it would have saved us some work, and made it possible for the OP to undelete it after editing themselves (now they have to raise a moderator flag)

@Alex yup. And in this case, the author likely has no idea what's happening and has no chance to improve their post.
and like.. if an answer is so bad it's worth deleting, that definitely means it's worth a downvote

@EmC Link?

@Rainbacon this answer

Is there any reason why we can't vote from LQP? I looked on MSE, but couldn't find anything

Q: My friend spoiled a movie for me, what should I do

personI was super excited to watch this movie. My friend started talking about it. I told her I hadn't seen it yet and didn't want spoilers. She tried in any way to spoil it for me. She would type it on the computer, she would try to say it but I would cover my ears, she would even look up pictures to ...

@ExtrovertedMainMan First, prepare your alibi.

@Rainbacon meta.stackexchange.com/a/300012/401104 ? sounds like a big reason was to avoid pile-on downvoting, which makes sense

@EmC That seems to be what I was looking for. Thank you. Apparently my SE search skills are not where they need to be.

7:09 PM
@IPSCommentBot let's migrate that comment to smartass.SE

@Rainbacon np! that one was thanks to google + site:meta.stackoverflow.com :p

I wish there was a good option to search through all site metas, but I see where it could be hard to properly parse through the results of such a search

@EmC More important than pile-on downvoting is voting in general is never sufficient reviewer action for a review item. CC @Rain

You can search the entire network there, including Meta sites.
If you choose your terms well enough it should eliminate results from main sites.

@Alex While that's nice, I wouldn't call it necessarily a good option as I have to work very hard to tailor my search so that I don't get posts from main. Now, if I could add a filter like meta:true, that would be super helpful

meta:dammit

@Rainbacon I guess it depends on what you're trying to search for. For example, I typed in "primarily opinion based" (without quotation marks) and so far every result on the first three pages is from a Meta site.

And from all over SE tends to bring up really weird results

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ The only ways to "complete" review tasks in the LQP queue is to vote to delete, vote "looks good", edit the question, or skip. Voting could be added as an option without making it a sufficient action for completing the review

@Rainbacon is there something wrong with this? google.com/…

I think I just rediscovered a way to have some fun. stackexchange.com/search?q=lobotomy

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ There are way more SO results in here than I expected.

@scohe001 That only searches through MSE, not any site metas
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Why am I not surprised that one of the top results for "lobotomy" across the network is a question about PHP?

@Rainbacon all the site metas are part of the meta.stackexchange.com domain. Take a closer look at that google search, I see site metas on there ;)

@scohe001 Oh, that is interesting.
Though it would be nice if I could do that without having to go to google
I did find that on MSE I could create a filter for only questions from meta sites, but I can't search within that filter

Eh doesn't the SE search use google behind the scenes?

user15026
I want to say no.
