I'm in kind of a problem, I want to look for a new file in a directory every few miliseconds, for that i need an infinite loop, php can access the files but can't do the infinite loop and javascript can't access the files and can do the loop

What about letting JS call a php method doing that job? shouldn't that work?

Don't know your specific use case nor how exactly php works. But can't you limit the infinite loop acording to your sue case, or get some feedback to somehow just load on demand?

As said, plain C I wouldn't compare C# with C at all. ^^ But yeah, with C you can. An C programm can even access system files and fuck up your OS if run as admin. and not executed in some kind of jail. So yeah. ^^ I once wrote an FCGI app in C. It actually HAD to access and change the HTML files (in RAM tho) on the run to not need php ^^

When I'm looking at the IPS homepage, I kind of feel like I'm the only living soul in here :(

You can use a setInterval for this purpose Reference time=setInterval(function(){ //your code },9000); you can clear this by clearInterval(time);

@avazula Well... I know where that question is comming from. For me it is aswell verz tiring and stressy if streets are crowded with all the others and their irrational behavior. But for the tiring my medications I mentioned yesterday do their job. They prevent me from experiencing being tired and their main purpose is making me able to focus

So my medications ensure not getting tired and staying focused while driving, so not a big deal(driving without them is) And on top of that I reallz enjoy driving alone... screaming and cursing other drivers That aren't able to respect very clearly described traffic rules without caring for possible passengers in my car

Honestly, I love the rules for driving they are so clear. So yeah, driving for 10 hours still is much for just sitting. But still.... if it wasnt that time consuming, I would 100% enjoy it :)

There are parts in England where they speak English which would make you think they are not English people.

The world is a very big place, and two different villages in China on opposite sides of the road could even have two different dialects, for example.

Anyway, when I got my laptop two months ago, I only looked at the processor, memory, and storage. Now I realise I need to look at the graphics card too. =)

I am not an expert in shopping for computers, and after reading many reviews, I also discovered that cooling solution might be important. Some computers have better cooling than others so the fan doesn't always spin.

£90 gets you a laptop that will work for browsing, documents etc.

£3000 will get you a nice gaming desktop

GPU is currently one of the high cost options. If you don't need, just get basic on board graphics

Yeah, that's right. I think there is a bug somewhere in the Intel UHD 620 though. That's the graphics integrated with the processor I have. Sometimes when I watch videos on Firefox, Windows 10 will tell me that Firefox has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware. No idea why, but it's not a big issue.

@avazula Yeah the video just stops halfway. What I can do is to turn off graphics acceleration in the browser, but I hope that does not put too much stress on the processor. =)

Yay someone on the highway just hit my car... I am fine... my car more or less too.... what annoys me most is the 2 women of the other car are perma calling friends telling what just happened and every one being ok.... and I? I just leave a note in the awkward silence as no one I should really call about it.

So, well... sources might be difficult to get, as most of my knowledge I got from my therapist, a really good friend with asperger who was in therapie for over 12 years her self aswell, conversations with other aspies who never really showed disagreement with what I said and especially bz continuously reflecting my self and trying to understand why I feel/behave as I do.

You could check the "spoon theory". While it is not tailored for autism, the subject is very similiar for autism as for depressions.

Otherwise, I had to research first aswell. But if you don't mind I can share my knowledge about it with you without "back up" ^^
