@HDE226868 No worries. I'm guessing acceptance isn't going to mean that much here compared to other sites - as often as not, there's no one "correct" answer on how to handle interpersonal interactions.
I assume questions like this often come up in the potential audience of this site, as I myself often try deconstructing the good and bad aspects of certain communities I'm involved in.
