@Ælis Lemme tell you, I understand you here. Its just, there is no perfect system. Otherwise it was implemented. And so one has to decide(given one cares) what system is considered best for personal prefferences. So just cause I economically favor capitalism, doesn‘t mean I don‘t feel bad for others.

@Ælis Here I have to say, that might be. But still, there is a significant difference in the companys value gained by his skillset and by mine :P

I can average around a thousand to seventeen hundred words per hour at night, and around three during the day

It's spring time :P People are spending more time outside XD

Also, the number of views didn't change, so that's probably not it (unless I'm missing something?)

Looking at the tools, the drop isn't as sudden as it seems to be: things have been going slower for a while now.

@Tinkeringbell spring time, people are less depressed/worried, so they ask less questions

There can be a million reasons for drops in post numbers.

But, they won't shut down the site just because there's little posts, so don't worry too much :)

As long as y'all are still curating the ones that we do get, we're fine :)

At work, two devs are a couple (one is the lead dev and the other one is just a dev) and they are currently fighting over work and relationship stuff and it's really difficult to hear :/

Ask them to talk louder then! :P

That sounds like a very good recommendation. Especially if one is the direct chief of the other

@Ælis That's no fun. My company has a policy that one member of a couple can't report to the other (or report to someone who reports to the other and so on)

@Rainbacon I think I agree with the idea behind this policy but I'm not sure I agree with the policy itself. In any case, I do understand why one would want to have this policy in place

I think it's mostly to avoid conflicts of interest. Since your managers are the ones deciding if you get promoted, you can't have your significant other involved in that

That makes sense. In any case, this couple I was talking about are external to the company (I forgot the name for that, sorry), so the promotion problem isn't one

I believe we had a "regular" amount of that this winter. But one week ago it was the beginning of the flowering time and then it snowed. That's not got for the plants :/

Nah, that's not. Mostly they'll survive, though they might not be as pretty this year.

Oh, that's also true. :/ especially if they're not commercially grown (commercial fruit farmers over here have for example extensive systems to deal with it)

Do you mean like mini heaters so that the plants don't catch a cold? :p Or just greenhouse and stuff like that?

@Ælis Actually, they spray water. The way water freezes apparently makes sure the flower stays warm enough to not be damaged.

I'm not sure the fire technic is that environment-friendly (but I could be wrong). In any case, this one looks very pretty!
