The assassin is messing up a lot of potential clues that have to do with household items; it's too similar.

SEW (3) for NEEDLE, PANTS, BOW. The last one is a bit of a stretch, but hopefully the best option. (You sew a bow onto a fancy dress or something)

How does WAR relate to SEWing at all? Just pass if you can't guess it.
