Q: Does anyone know the history of "Isaac Asimov Presents" outside the anthology series?

JBHMy question is at the bottom of the post. While reading through another question on this site, I came across Neal Barrett Jr's Through Darkest America. Boldly at the top of the book it says "Isaac Asimov Presents." It even confused the user asking to identify the book, who though the author was A...

Funny story is how that quote was helpful in securing the rights to a song they wanted to use. Former Rolling Stones manager had to be negotiated with to secure the rights and he wanted a 150k. He was shown a (I presume rough) cut of the film. When they came to that quote, he jumped up and said, "that's it, you can have the song."

FuzzyBootsI was recently watching a compilation video of weird PC games, which included Jinx, a Europe-exclusive platforming title where you play as a jester. This suddenly reminded me of having played a game on Steam, probably 4-5 years ago, where you play as a muscular man in a blue (purple?) jester outf...

Q: Sci-fi novel where action happens on an alien dangerous planet

HouserI read this around 25 years ago. I remember very, very little about the story. Glimpses mostly. What I do remember, in the beginning, a female character, maybe a scientist, meets a male character who (maybe) lived on/came from the dangerous planet. That male character is presented in the book as ...

@Marvin So does it make sense to close this as duplicate of both previous questions for Deathworld and Planet of the Damned? Or would that be confusing?
