Q: Is Voltron (Lion force) sentient?

RusshiroI'm not 100% familiar with the 2010s series, but speaking more of the original 1980s cartoon/anime, and the early 2000s semi-spin off/continuation Voltron Force: It's been heavily implied that the individual Lion robots have a certain amount of autonomy, with the Blue lion in particular seeming...

@xkcd this one's sweet!
@DavidW same as last time, still using work to compensate for the rest of bad stuff
I'm mentoring a new recruit on the project nowadays, which is pretty cool! Furthermore we knew each other from a previous project in the company so we work pretty well together :)
You?

Q: Why was Yoda unable to defeat Sidious in their final confrontation in RotS?

CT-27-3555Throughout this scene it appears that Yoda is the more skilled and focused in his confrontation with Sidious even though Sidious landed the first blow with his force lightning. This is also coupled with the fact that Sidious was injured greatly in his earlier fight with Mace Windu who he lost to ...

Q: Dark sci-fi short story about a designer drug/pharma industry in a near future

VladTried searching the internet for ages for this one. There are people watching the test subjects on camera, and I think there was either one o...

Q: Short story about (three?) waves of plague

Haydon BerrowI can't remember when I read this short story, it is probably in the 60s or 70s. I don't even remember it as particularly good but it is apposite for our present situation. It's a long time ago so my memory is vague and very likely faulty. Two men are conversing, possibly in a vehicle. Let's call...

skyjackRound about 2012 I was seeing lots of articles on the internet about how the film director Lynne Ramsey was preparing a SF film based ion Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick. Q: Has Ray Bradbury ever suggested what he was inspired by in writing Fahrenheit 451?

Mozibur UllahRay Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 in 1953 where books are banned and firemen burn any books that are found. It's set in a future US society and is a dystopic vision in the tradition of 1984, a brutal depiction of a surveillance society; and Brave New World, a savage satire on a society drugged in...

Q: What is the first instance of an "evil prometheus" giving/teaching magic to the monsters?

kutschkemAn "evil prometheus" in and of itself is probably not too special, as it's basically just the antagonist giving weapons to otherwise less technologically advanced people to fight the protagonist. I am not sure what story counts as having an "evil prometheus", but I am sure there enough. In fantas...

Q: How much would Nundu parts cost, and how regulated would they be?

TheMythNerdI mean, we know how much a Unicorn Hair costs thanks to Slughorn - 10 Galleons - what we don't know is the cost of other animals. I was wondering where my answer went. It turns out that the question got deleted because it's closed. I don't really understand why it was closed, and I think it should be left open, even if I admit that my answer is entirely silly and it doesn't hurt to delete it. scifi.stackexchange.com/q/238772/4918

@DavidW I hear you :( hang in there...

@DavidW ahah, I hadn't noticed the paw prints on the bathtub!
Reminds me of a colleague's cat who walked on her freshly-made concrete slab. Gives quite a style to her garage's floor πŸ˜†

(The only thing worse than washing down a dog who's encountered a skunk is washing down a dog who got both of you sprayed!)
Oh, thank you for cleaning up that edit. I inexplicably failed to notice how much work it needed before I approved it.
So i think i found the answer to [this] [1] question, but I think most of the stories in the manga don't fit for fantasy. There are a few that have dragons, magic, reincarnation, but most are a short encounter between a prince and his fiancee. That and with how vague the question is, there could be dozens of other manga collections that answer it.

[1]: https://scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/239302/dooes-anone-know-this-manga-title
Well, at least you found it, so the primary goal of posting the question is satisfied.
i'm just not certain what to do in this situation, since the question is closed, and extremely vague. I could put the title in the comment section, but answers in the comments are frowned upon
23:51
@DavidW no worries, you're welcome :)
@shufly you could propose a shufly.stackexchange.com specialising in IDing super vague isekai mangas recollections, there's a lot of demand and you seem to always be there to offer an adequate answer πŸ˜‚
@Jenayah Most of them have an attribute that i recognize from having read them before. in this case, it sounded like a collection of "villianess" short stories. I've only come across one of those, "Though I May Be a Villainess, I'll Show You I Can Obtain Happiness!", so i think that is the answer.
