Q: Why does Thor keep saying this to Banner?

TrivediIn Thor Ragnarok we have seen a couple of times when Thor keeps telling Banner "the sun is down, the sun is down" to calm him down and stop him from turning back to Hulk. What is the reason behind Thor saying this to Hulk? I don't remember any reference from the previous MCU movies.

Q: Which GoT characters do not appear in ASoIaF?

Andrew ThompsonI started out watching the Game of Thrones series (just about to watch season 4), then became intrigued enough to also read the A Song of Ice and Fire series (soon to acquire book 5). Obviously a TV series cannot cover the detail one might expect in the books, so some characters from the books w...

Q: Science fiction story set in true Bath about time travel

Danny3414Read this short story early eighties — generations of mice dying as they drag a revival casket through snow — they finally get into a house under a shattered dome and, with the help of some droids called "mimes", they regenerate a man named Nicholas. He immediately dons some bit of kit called a "...

Q: How can gods be affected by their own power?

love thakkerIn Thor: Ragnarok movie, we see Thor was controlled using some electric current machine and was paralyzed by it. While he was shown a god of Thunder, how can he be paralyzed by a small amount of electricity? Also I have same query about Hela. If she is goddess of death, how can she die? She may...

Q: Will Thor loose his powers?

love thakkerIn Thor: Ragnarok, we see that Hela loose her powers or may be died after destruction of Asgard as she was getting power from it. So in the movie, it was mentioned that Thor same as Hela gets his powers from Asgard. Now as Asgard is destroyed, will Thor loose his powers? Or as Odin said, Asgard ...

Yes. It meant I had to spend a couple days digging a trench and putting the wires and pipes in - and those were heavy and hard to manage wires and pipes! All that while trying to push to get the final inspection and do the landscaping AND move us both in *before* the wedding - with less than a month to go!

We got it all done in time, but it left me totally exhausted.

@JarkoDubbeldam The Russian name for bats is winged mice :D
I thought that was pretty much what he was trying to convey, too.
@NapoleonWilson Well, in dutch its a rough translation
Well, apparently in Russian it's an English word. ;-P
Flying mice, to be precise
@JarkoDubbeldam I believe it was @Mithrandir's idea?
@TimE.Lord So it's a rough translation of "winged mice"? ;-)
10:53
The Russian name of bats translates exactly as "flying mice"
@TimE.Lord nope, @SQB

If it was up to me, we'd have an Oglaf feed as well, but that gets real NSFW real quick.
Although last week's Sithrak comic was great and ... well, at least there wasn't any explicit sex, so that makes it mostly SFW.
@SQB yeah, I'm fairly sure that would be shot down very quickly

Q: The equation between Thor and Loki?

ShaliniI wonder about the exact equation between Thor and Loki throughout Thor: Ragnarok, they're like fire and ice. What makes Thor to keep trusting Loki despite of all the times Loki has cheated his trust? To think of that, in Avengers Loki was the super bad villain, and one way or the other Loki has ...

Q: Does Heimdall already know about the prophecy of Ragnarok?

ShaliniSo Skurge has taken over Heimdall's position and from what it seems like, Loki has specially appointed him so he announces Thor's arrival. Had Loki forcefully removed Heimdall from his rank or had Heimdall known the prophecy of Ragnarok beforehand and thus quit so he could save the people of Asga...

Q: Is it all right to change my Profile name again?

InvokerI have recently changed my name from BookStriker to Invoker. Honestly, this is my favorite character in a video game. I changed my profile picture recently and I want to input her name in my profile. And it might be not good enough to change my name again.
